My dad enjoyed his time at Serenity Springs. The neighborhood is great with friendly, welcoming neighbors. Also, the size of the home is just right to allow for great one on one care. His caretaker is second to none. She has become like family. She took him on walks when he was still able to do so. She played his tunes for him. Whatever he wanted or needed, she provided. I would highly recommend this home over any institution or other personal care homes I've visited.

My husband was well taken care of at Serenity Springs for 3 years. It was clean, warm and welcoming. I thank God for leading us there. His caregiver was literally dropped out of Heaven, treating him with dignity and kindness that is unmatched. She walked the neighborhood with him, and he loved the neighbors and their dogs. She kept him impeccably clean and well dressed. We were pleased with the safety of the home and area. We brought in a recreational therapist weekly and his barber monthly, bringing him joy and purpose. We even brought our dog over to visit outside. It was the next best…

Serenity Springs of Freydale was a true blessing for our family during a very important chapter of our lives. My mother lived there for almost a year, and the care, attention, and warmth she received made all the difference in her comfort and well-being. As a private care home, Serenity Springs offers a level of personalized care that’s hard to find elsewhere. The staff treated Mom like family—not just a resident. They were patient, respectful, and incredibly compassionate, taking time to understand her routines, her preferences, and her health needs. Knowing she was in capable, caring hands gave our entire family a sense of peace. A special thank you to Mary and Janet, who were especially attentive to my mom’s needs. Their kindness, patience, and quiet dedication stood out every day. Mary had a way of knowing just what my mom needed in the moment, while Janet brought calm reassurance and a gentle presence that Mom really responded to. Their care made a lasting difference, not just for her but for all of us. The home itself was always clean, peaceful, and thoughtfully arranged to feel like a real home—not a facility. From the cozy common areas to the outdoor spaces where Mom loved to sit, everything was designed to help residents feel safe and at ease. Communication with the staff was open and reassuring—we always felt welcome to ask questions or check in. They kept us informed and involved, which meant the world to us. While every care setting comes with its challenges, Serenity Springs provided a level of personal attention and genuine kindness that made a lasting impression. I would wholeheartedly recommend this home to other families looking for a warm, respectful, and high-quality place for their loved ones.

Within two months, my dad got three falls, a urinary track infection. When he did fall, the workers blamed him for the fall instead of thinking of ways to prevent future falls. From the fall, he has very badly infected arm. It is taking a long time to heal.

At Serenity Springs, my mother receives exceptional care and love, tailored to her individual needs. The staff, highly trained and compassionate, provide round-the-clock attention to ensure her well-being and comfort. They take time to understand her preferences and personal history, which helps in offering personalized activities and support. The environment at Serenity Springs is warm and inviting, designed to make residents feel at home. The care team focuses not just on physical health but also on emotional and social needs, fostering a sense of community and belonging. Regular health check-ups, nutritious meals, and engaging social activities are integral parts of the care regimen, all delivered with genuine empathy and respect. Family involvement is encouraged, with open communication between staff and loved ones to keep everyone informed and involved in care decisions. This holistic approach ensures that your mother feels valued, supported, and cherished in her new home.

My mom was a former resident of Shadybrook Assisted Personal Care Home. We love this particular staff member. She was very caring and my mom loved her. And that was the most important thing. They took good care of my mother. They were all very attentive. They did whatever they could to make her comfortable. And they came in and checked on her often, so we were super appreciative of that. We weren't afraid to leave her, that she wouldn't be cared for. They also had hospice care there, which came in two, or three times a week. And, they had a beautiful sunroom, where some mobile patients could sit in the sunroom and watch TV. It was more like a home than a facility.

It is a scam and the home is very dirty. The owner only cares about the money and not about the residents well-being. She charged me an additional $2,000 on top of what she told me she was going to be charging me. She told me I needed to pick up my mom when I told her I was not paying that and if I did not she would take her to a shelter if I did not come pick her up that day. I would not recommend this home to anybody.

The facility is more like a family home. Six or so residents, smaller, more individulzed feel. Don't ge lost in the suffle like at a larer facility. But there's one person in charge of everybody, but she does go to sleep at night. It's locked, with an alarm on the door. They weren't equipped for our family member, but I don't fault them for it. He just needed a more secure area. He could still get out, despite that lock. And it was really disruptive tot everybody at night. He just needed 24 hr secure area. They did a really great job. Everybody ws relaly freindly and they did try to work with us.
