I recently toured Sullivan House while researching personal care homes in the area and left genuinely moved by what I experienced. As someone who spent years visiting family members in larger facilities that felt cold and understaffed, walking into Sullivan House felt like the complete opposite. Gina, the owner, was present, passionate, and clearly sets the tone for everything that happens there. You can tell immediately that this isn't just a business to her. Shedina, the Executive Director, was sharp, organized, and deeply knowledgeable which is exactly the kind of steady leadership you want overseeing your loved one's daily care. Allison, who leads Community Outreach made me feel welcomed from our first phone conversation and answered every question thoughtfully. What impressed me most was the staff. The caregivers were genuinely engaged with residents, they knew them by name, and brought real warmth to every interaction. The culture here starts at the top and you feel it throughout the entire home. The home itself was spotless, bright, and thoughtfully arranged. Residents were active, social, and clearly comfortable. Meals are prepared with individual preferences in mind and the activity calendar reflects real effort to keep residents mentally and socially engaged every single day. If you want your Mom, Dad or loved one to thrive in a community that actually delivers on the promise of personalized care mixed with genuine southern hospitality, I would highly recommend Sullivan House!

I have not met a more caring and meticulous owner who pours her heart, sweat and time into this home! Come and see for yourself you will not be disappointed

Sullivan House is truly a special place. I have had the pleasure of working with the Sullivan team, and what stands out immediately is how fully present the owners are. They genuinely care about their residents, their families, and their staff, and it shows in everything they do. The community operates like a family. It feels more like a home than a facility, and you can feel the love in the building the moment you walk in. Sullivan House is a true find for a senior who needs a higher level of care than assisted living can provide. My mom was just such a person, as she did not need nursing care but did need 24-hour assistance with her daily activities. On top of that the owners have their hearts in the right place and the staff, both clinical and CNAs, are friendly and warm. Attention to detail is immediately evident in the cleanliness of the home (I cannot call it a facility) complete with an extra large living area, an enclosed porch, outside sitting areas, and communal dining space. It truly feels like a home.

I’m so grateful I found Sullivan House when I did. My mom was living in a nearby memory care facility when she fell and was hospitalized. As she prepared for discharge, we were told she could not return to the home she’d lived in for three years due to her declining mental and physical health. That’s when Sullivan House entered the picture. We were introduced to this wonderful family-owned assisted living community through a hospice liaison at the hospital. Within days, my mom was settled into her new home, and I could finally breathe a sigh of relief. Gina and her team are exactly the kind of people you want caring for an elderly parent—warm, attentive, respectful, and truly engaged. The residents enjoy a full schedule of daily activities, and the meals look as good as they taste. (I’m a foodie, and I was impressed.) Mom spent her final months at Sullivan House. I sang their praises then, and I continue to recommend them now -- as recently as a few nights ago! I was comforted knowing she was cared for by this exceptional team. Even after my mom’s passing, they still reach out from time to time to let me know they’re thinking of me and remembering her. That says everything.

The Sullivan House is an incredible place, and the team truly cares about their residents. The owner has a genuine heart for the people she serves, and it shows in every detail. The home is beautifully designed with an intimate, personal approach that makes it feel welcoming and comfortable. If you’re looking for a place that offers exceptional care, great attention to each resident, and excellent staff-to-resident ratios, this is the place to be

Very nice community Staff very Loving and kind people

My sister and I were overwhelmed during our exhaustive search for a facility that could provide 24/7, high-level care for our elderly father. He had just undergone a full leg amputation and was facing the possibility of another. We knew he deserved only the best. But after visiting several subpar facilities, we were left feeling hopeless and deflated. Then we found Sullivan House. From the moment I stepped through the doors, I felt an immediate sense of peace. The property is stunning with a pond and waterfall. The setting is both calming and beautiful. The interior is spacious, thoughtfully designed, and truly feels like an upscale private home. But what truly sets Sullivan House apart is the staff. Every team member we encountered treated our father with exceptional kindness, dignity, and warmth. They cared for him not just as a patient, but as if he were family. Thanks to Sullivan House, our father spent his final months in comfort, surrounded by beauty, respect, and genuine care. We are forever grateful to the incredible team for giving him and us peace during such a difficult time
