The very capable, friendly and patient staff give us such peace of mind. My in-laws both love being there and have met wonderful friends!
My mom has been at sterling for about 8 months and she loves it. The staff is wonderful and very attentive to her needs. She participates in many of the activities and has made many good friends. I especially like that Mom gets one-on-one physical therapy sessions to work on improving her balance and strength. We have been thoroughly pleased with the care Mom has gotten here.
My wife and I were looking for a senior living community for three years. When we saw the cottages at Sterling Estates of West Cobb, that peaked our interest. After a tour, we were hooked. Sterling has been a wonderful choice! Care here is exceptional on all levels; meals are gourmet quality and are brought to our homes if if we’d rather eat at home instead of the two restaurants; a fantastic Wellness Center helps with exercise equipment found in any gym, including a saltwater pool for water aerobics. My wife and I were looking for a senior living community for three years. When we saw the cottages at Sterling Estates of West Cobb, that peaked our interest. After a tour, we were hooked. Sterling has been a wonderful choice! Sterling Estates of West Cobb is a multi-faceted retirement community with independent living, assisted living, and memory care options. We have lived in the complex for close to seven years and are happy that we came here. The facilities are modern and well-maintained. The staff is wonderful, and the range of options for activities are numerous. Sterling Estates is well-managed, has a first-class food operation and has a consistency in their approach to service. People at Sterling have formed a great community and everyone gets along really well. There are several options for independent living, including the Hampton building, which houses larger apartments, the Stratford building, which houses smaller apartments, and several cottage options. The cottage options range in size up to about 2300 square feet. Assisted Living at Sterling provides a full range of activites and is located in the main building. This building also houses a wellness center with a full wellness staff and a heated pool. Sterling Estates has won the "Best of Cobb" award for the best senior living facility for numerous years. and, for anyone looking for a premier senior living facility, Sterling Estates of West Cobb is a great option.
I have lived at Sterling for 14 months. It would be difficult for me to put into only a few words how nice it is so let me start from the beginning. My story is like many. My husband passed away and although I had family around, I was also very alone in a large house. I began looking for another place to live. After looking at various smaller homes (in a 55+) and becoming more and more discouraged I decided to look into Sterling. This beautiful community was just being built when we moved to Georgia and we had passed by it many times. The first person I spoke to was Lacey. She made me feel so comfortable and as she showed me around I was amazed how everyone spoke to her (even to me) and she knew them all by name. Lacey showed me a cottage that was available, I thought it was lovely and the rest is history. The people here are the best and Sadie (my little dog) and I feel more and more at home with each passing day. There are many activities, games to play, great day trips, really fun parties, sing alongs, good food, etc. If you ever drive past Sterling come on in and look around. The place is beautiful, the people will say hello and you will smile. I am very happy! ~Joan H
My father has enjoyed his lifestyle at Sterling Estates for over 4 years now. He enjoys the activities available for him to participate in and the friendships he has made with others in the community! We also have the peace mind knowing the staff is there in case of emergency! They have always had a quick response for a medical issue or maintenance issue. Sterling Estates is definitely a great place for anyone needing a senior living community to call home!
Sterling Estates demonstrates an incredible level of professionalism, expertise and compassion in delivering world-class care to my mother. Most families struggle with the prospect of how to provide quality care for an aging loved one. But with Sterling Estates, we found a true partner who makes this challenging task look easy. From day one, the Sterling Team engaged with us to understand Mom’s unique needs and devise a customized care plan to ensure she lives comfortably and thrives, in spite of her many health challenges. Mom enjoys her apartment, the lovely building, the beautiful grounds, the world-class dining experience and the many wonderful daily activities that make the Sterling culture so very special. We are deeply grateful to have Mom as part of the Sterling family.
We moved our parents into Sterling Estates during a difficult time in our family's journey struggling with my mom's Alzheimer's and my dad could no longer manage her care on his own. Sterling Estates was wonderful with them and the facilities are beautiful. Staff and care was great and if considering memory care, this is definitely a top choice. My only wish is that we'd moved them earlier, when they were able to live independently in the community and truly "age in place".
