This facility was purchased and taken over sometime after April of 2025. The facility had a 1.3 star rating and was literally the lowest rated facility that I could find in the entire county. It was awful all-around that I researched and wrote to the licensing board (an extreme measure, but I saw patients lying in and physically restrained to hospital-styled beds with the beds in the area of what appeared to be the nurses' stations for the individual wings. It was awful all-around that I researched and wrote to the licensing board (an extreme measure, but I saw patients lying in and physically restrained to hospital-styled beds with the beds in the area of what appeared to be the nurses' stations for the individual wings. On multiple visits, I had patients in those beds and others sitting in stationery wheelchairs literally reach out to be (a few even able to grab my wrist/forearm/hand and beg me to help them. I want to add that while the majority of the patients are what I consider elderly, there very young patients there, as well -- a couple I would estimate to be in their very early teens). At the time, the physical rehabilitation wing was at the very end of one side of the building, and visitors had to walk past wings designated for traditional "nursing home" patients. That said, the nursing home sections were more akin to "One Flew Over the Cuckoo Nest" (I do not say this in jest) with a few patients seemingly to belong in a psyche facility.. In early 2025, they were slowly remodelling individual rooms and hallways. I am writing this because I read the facility had changed hands as it has done several times over the last handful of years. I'm happy to see (from the photos) that the facility looks to have completed the remodel. Based on the 2026 and late 2025 negative reviews, it seems the absolutely depressing decor may have been revamped and the equipment may have been refurbished, but it does not appear that the actual atmosphere and 75% of the employees have received an upgrade. There's still issues of wrong to no medications being given. Long delays (1.5 hours) after a patients requests immediate assistance, . That said it sounds like many facilities across the state and country. Executive management/C-Suite reaps millions in annual salaries and even more in bonuses, but pay the actual people taking care of patients Taco Bell entry-level wages. Employees must get burned out after 3-4 months. Before the name change, the turnover rate seemed mind-boggling. BEFORE you take or send a loved here, I strongly suggest you actually go there yourself and have a look... and read the prior reviews from "Signature Healthcare of Marietta)
If I could give this facility a 0, I would. My sister Azeeza died here on Thursday, June 25th. As of date, my family and I still have very little information. We were simply told that she was given her meds around 9 and they returned to her room around 11 and she was non responsive. To date, no one from the facility has signed a death certificate and I have requested a meeting, much to no avail. No social worker has called us yet. The director called but did not follow up with the funeral home. But Rest assured, I am in the process of taking all necessary steps to get the information that I…

Please don't bother calling, you will not get anywhere. They are extremely unprofessional with the phone lines as well. Do not send your loved ones here!!!!!!!
Juanita is amazing!
Tameka is a very good worker. You can ask her any question and if she doesn’t know the answer she will always find out and let you know. She is always smiling and she is very pleasant. She will never say this is not my resident. She is always helpful.
Our family is so happy to have found Davia at the Marietta Center. She gave us a thorough tour and helped us feel good about trusting the center to get our mother through this difficult time of healing. We visited several other options but ultimately she was the deciding factor for our decision.
I want to give a huge shout-out to the amazing CNA team at Marietta Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. Ishka Jackson is an incredible team lead. She is extremely reliable and is always looking for ways to improve, which truly says a lot about her character and dedication to the facility. Diamond Freeman is also wonderful and very dependable. She is always willing to lend a helping hand and ensures the residents she is assigned to receive top quality care. Thank you both for everything you do!
Ms Ishka Jackson gave us hands -on training on pericare , vital signs and a whole of others.
During the training session, both CNA team members, Ishka and Diamond, demonstrated a strong willingness to learn and actively participated throughout the process. They showed good understanding of patient care fundamentals, including safety protocols, communication, and daily living assistance. Ishka displayed attentiveness and consistency in following instructions, while Diamond stood out with her initiative and ability to engage confidently with residents. Both individuals maintained professionalism and a compassionate approach, which is essential in a nursing home environment. Overall, they are progressing well and have the potential to be reliable, effective CNAs with continued hands-on experience and guidance.
