4.1 · 10 reviewsI toured this community and it was good. The staff seemed on top of things, it was clean. It's different than a regular facility. It's an actual home (residential care) and has only a few residents. Definitely more of a personal care setting.
Let me start by saying, thank you to the entire staff at Avant Care. The facility is nice and clean without the the look or feel of a hospital or nursing home. This facility also followed the Covid-19 protocol, that was comforting. The staff was exceptionally tentative to my God mother and the other citizens, giving them the utmost attention and respect as I did when she lived at home. Mom has since transitioned to heaven. Thank you again for providing loving care to mom. If anyone is looking for a warm loving care home, I highly recommend this facility. Mom’s God daughter
I would highly refer this facility. My aunt is currently under their care. The staff is patient with her and understand her specific needs as a dementia patient. The home is clean and a safe environment for the clients. I also value the effective communication with me concerning my aunt in that we are "a team" to ensure her well-being.

The staff are very good at what they do.....the residents are well taken care of...overall it is a very good facility......
Owner of facility is rude, and very disrespectful. She doesn't take the time with her residents. And doesn't pay her employee there wages. Please do your research before putting a love one there
The staff is very involved with residents and provide activities for all residents based on their individual interest to participate. The meals are well prepared . The home is clean, my family member is happy and well cared for and looks forward to returning home. When she was admitted we where informed that the home does not provide incontinent supplies. We were given a contract. They are very professional and handled any discrepancies in a professional manner.
I was disappointed with this care home. It did not offer any active outings so my mother spent the day just sitting in her room. It seemed like they were charging us for unnecessary trips to her doctor. When my mother ran out of incontinence supplies much earlier than expected, the owner would not try to find out why this happened nor give any help to correct the issue. They had a bad attitude. I even received complaints from my mother's doctor's office and her fiduciaries about the owner of the home having a bad attitude.
I loved the one on one care from this small community. My mom is in a great location, she enjoys her meals they serve her. Activities are available, not as many, but they take her outside for a walk. She has been to a movie night. It has been a great experience and i would recommend them.
