My mom has been in this Facility for a few years. No one Ever picks up the phone so I can check on how my mom is doing, she's 93 years old, I live in California and I have no idea what's going on! THEY NEVER ANSWER THE PHONE AT THIS PLACE!
My grandma came here for short term rehab after a fall and received the most horrible, neglectful care. She developed MULTIPLE SEVERE BED SORES and experienced facility induced delirium. They did not listen to anything we said about her status before entering and we were shocked to see they put “advanced dementia” on her discharge paperwork. She has no cognitive issues or memory loss and returned to her full mental function 2 weeks after leaving AG Rhodes. She was fully traumatized from her experience. The damage was as much mental/emotional as it was physical. They said she was failing to…
My grandma came here for short term rehab after a fall and received the most horrible, neglectful care. They said she was failing to thrive and suggested hospice multiple times before we left. We transferred her into another rehab and she has almost fully recovered!!! The only thing wrong with her now is the wounds she never should have been dealing with in the first place. She loves the staff and is HAPPY and HEALING… something AG Rhodes implied wasn’t possible. This place set her back so terribly far it almost killed her. Please please please do not send your loved one here.
I would definitely recommend this facility for a loved one in need of long term care skilled nursing. When we've gone to visit a family member that resides here it is always clean and a member of the staff has been available. There's a member of staff available when we need to talk with the nurse about care, or if we've brought new clothes they are quick to take them and return them with the name so they won't get lost in the laundry.
We were very pleased with our experience at A. G. Rhodes in Cobb. We came after about 6 different recommendations from friends. We felt the nursing staff was experienced with dementia patients and did an outstanding job with our mom’s recovery! They knew when to encourage and motivate and when to give her space. The physical and occupational therapists were excellent with my mom. Many activities to choose from and a music channel which was so good for settling her. Her room was spacious with a beautiful window to see outside. The grounds were beautiful for outside strolls and the birds inside were high motivation for getting her out for exercise. Rhodes made strides with her the family thought we’d never see again.
Awesome 👌
It was a lvery clean, warm atmosphere and well furnished.
We are very pleased with the care Mom receives at AGRhodes Cobb. She is an advanced stage of dementia and basically requires assistance with all ADL. The staff treats all residents with respect and kindness, the facility is always clean, the activities engage residents and the food is pretty good. The support staff and administration are very responsive to questions too.
My husband was in rehabilitation for 5 weeks his stay was fantastic.
