The staff communication was good with the family. Any questions we had were answered quickly, anything medically needed was tended to very fast and communicated well. For us, what I think the community did best was the whole move in process. We were in a bit of an emergency because the rehab our loved one was at was horrible. They moved our loved one in fast and truly worked exceptionally hard to get them in, and settled pretty much in 24hrs. They didn't have to go out of their way like that and we were very grateful for this.
The crossings at Webb Bridge; when we toured the facility the Director, [name removed], was very cheerful engaging and Welcoming. The facility was understaffed with full-time employees. And I many of them were engaging and could redirect their residence however the part-time staff are seem to be unprepared. I one evening my dad took the window out and escaped. The window situation was never taken care of. But dad was moved to a new room. At this point [name removed] became unfriendly, rude to my dad and put him in private dining. The window situation was never taken care of. But dad was moved to a new room. At this point [name removed] became unfriendly, rude to my dad and put him in private dining. The facility did not have the ability to redirect nor handle dementia situations due to [name removed] inability. Three times the ambulance was called to take dad to the ER. Each time I got to the hospital the staff did not know why he was there because he only needed to be redirected. All this during Covid. I was called at all hours of the day to come and sit or sleep on the floor next to my dad
It's truly a wonder how this place is still in business. My loved one WAS a resident here until they found her lying on the floor. It was determined that she was on the floor between 2 to 4 hours. As of right now she is in the hospital and the doctors are telling us she needs to be moved to a skilled nursing home. Once a vibrant fatality for residents and family now its doom and gloom. So many residents have already moved out. The rooms are not cleaned and its extremely hot in the building. The best thing they can do is bring back the former managers. We never had any problems until they left. This community has declined is less than 30 days. Now, the regional mgr from MN is here trying to correct things. Where was he the past 30 days when they hired an unqualified administrator?
Due to changes in the corporate policies the building is going through a decline. My mom was left in the same clothes and diaper for two days. She has a pressure wound on her bottom now. The air conditioning is not functioning and neither is the fire alarm system. It buzzes constantly. Bathrooms and rooms are dirty. I saw no one cleaning while I was there for 5 days taking care of mom and getting her moved out. Food is sub par for the price you pay.
Recent changes in management have prompted us to move my mom to another facility. While in her room, confined to her recliner, another resident was allowed to enter her room and beat her for 3 minutes. This was captured on video in her room. She was not fed for a day as her meals were placed out of reach in her room and taken away when not eaten. She is an insulin dependent diabetic. She is often left in saturated pull-ups to the point of her shirt and entire pair of pants being completely drenched in urine, which has caused break down of her skin. Wellness Director is very immature and I received an eye roll when addressing a concern today. Is this really the kind of place you would place a loved one? They also raised rent 6 months after we signed our lease, they are not cheap.
You can skip this facility. I just moved my mother out. Due to a change in corporate policies the building/staff has gone into a decline. Building is dirty. Bathrooms not cleaned. Fire alarm /AC system not working. Very uncomfortable temps. Food is sub par. Mom was left in the same clothes for days. Has developed a pressure sore on her bottom due to lack of being changed properly. Exec Staff not on the premises. Community being run by inexperienced med techs. Don’t take a chance with this community.
Our family had an in person tour and it really was a toss up it was a great experience
We toured with The Crossings at Webb Bridge Road and liked the facility and the gal giving the tour was great. They seemed to have lots of activities provided for the residents, but it just did not seem like my loved one was going to fit in here.
