Highly recommend Parkside Rehab!! My mother was in rehab and everyone was super nice and always very helpful. Parkside was a wonderful place for her to rehab.
I would give a zero if it were an option. The Director of Nursing Christian Jennings will not respond to calls or messages. She’s the most unprofessional DON I’ve ever seen run a nursing facility. My father transferred from Memorial Hospital to this facility and I went there 5 times and they told me he was not a patient there . How does this happen? My dad is telling me he’s there . They’re telling me he’s not. I have to get police involved and ironically my father is there and has been for 3 days. I see why the director avoids people now. And I also see why this facility has a 3 star rating.…

And I also see why this facility has a 3 star rating. When a Director of Nursing avoids questions regarding your loved one’s wellbeing, that’s a HUGE RED FLAG! I will be reporting her to the Licensing Board. As she violates patients privacy by talking to outsider’s who aren’t relatives and have no business knowing my father’s health issues . This is a HUGE issue!!! We’ve sought legal counsel as well. I advise anyone reading this to look elsewhere.
This is a horrible place of business. They treat staff and patients very poorly. David Weitz is one of the worst in the company. They only care about money and will use manipulation and corruption to ensure they line their pockets at the expense of staff and patients. David is the epitome of corporate greed and should be fired immediately. He hangs up on people instead of having a conversation he deems below him. What an awful place to take a loved one. Most of the staff are great people. Just not the management.
Everyone is so friendly here. They have a great therapy team and activites really goes above and beyond weekly.
Doctors over billing on dates I never saw them was my biggest problem and no one is willing to help. After they accepted Hutcheson staff things went south due to 28 patients not 13. What can be done about doctor over billing.
They were absolutely the best caring for my mom. From the nurse in charge of it all, To the nurses that I saw everyday when I went in . The cna’s that took personal care of her, and the wound nurse that tried to ease her pain and the pt that never gave up. You won’t find another group of people that care for your loved one like their own like they do
This place is horrible! Food fell in floor, no one picked it up, cell phone in floor. Laying in a position God knows how long with her mouth leaned into the bars of the bed. I would not intentionally pick this place for a loved one!! Don't even change a blouse when chocolate spilled all over her. The elderly deserve respect and they aren't getting it at Parkside. 😡 When she finally got out of that horrible place and to a real nursing home, the first thing I saw was lots of pieces of waxy looking gunk all around her eyes and on the sides of her nose. Her face felt like sandpaper! No way were they cleaning her face! Fast forward 2 weeks, she is coming back to us! Night and day difference! I wouldn't put an animal in that place. They should be shut down!
My mother recently spent 10 days at Parkside for rehab. We had a wonderful experience. The nursing staff and the therapists were all amazing. We were very pleased and would recommend Parkside.
