Owner, Executive Directors, and Management are very unprofessional! Carla Stephen's is 100% correct and this is from a former employee who was fired because I got hurt on the job!
Where do I begin.... FIRST OF ALL, FAMILIES PLEASE GET YOUR LOVED ONES OUT OF THIS FACILITY. The Executive Director is a drunk and the worst I have ever seen in the business. She verbally abuses staff and only works about 4 hrs a day. The marketing girl is 22 and her bestie and sits in ED office and shows up 4 hrs a day just to be a drinking buddy and never markets causing low census. The HR talks to people like dogs and no wonder she has been threatened so many times to get beat up, and cops there every other day. You have nobody to go to with issues. Where do I begin.... FIRST OF ALL, FAMILIES PLEASE GET YOUR LOVED ONES OUT OF THIS FACILITY. The Executive Director is a drunk and the worst I have ever seen in the business. The 3 of these people leave early every day to go drink. Also they go for lunch or coffee and come back smelling like Alcohol. They lie to your face about everything and talk about the familes and the residents. I have never been in a more hostile and toxic work environment. I pray for the famiies that have their love ones there. The owner must not give a damn about the well being of the residents nor their staff
Gorgeous community with incredibly friendly staff! What a gem!
We went to Tapestry House Assisted Living. It kind of made us feel sad when we went through the tour. The facility was okay. It was very nice outside. It was a little dated on the inside, which isn't necessarily a problem, but I noticed that. It was clean, but some of the lighting was weird. One of the things my mom instantly remarked on was, 'Why is it so dark in the showroom?' And they're like, 'We make sure that we keep it pretty dark not to scare people,' which is odd. The other place had a better vibe, but this one was kind of sad and quiet. At that time, one of the residents asked for assistance from the staff while she was there, and she turned her down because she was on a tour instead of getting help for her, which we didn't like. They had a dining room, an outdoor section, and a private dining room. They took us into an activities room that they had as well.
Extreme staff turnover, lack of trained caregivers, poor caregiver bedside manner and work ethic. Ineffective leadership. I would not recommend anyone send their loved one to Tapestry. It's unsafe.
Tapestry House assisted living's food is exceptional! Chef Leon has been there for 20 year. No other place around can say that! My father loves the fried chicken.
Our family had an in person tour and it was a really nice tour experience, it was a smaller community that was family owned and very very clean
The facility is ok, it's quiet and not gloomy. Housekeeping is weekly and I think they do a good job. Communication with the family is good. The food is good, good quality and variety. They really seem to be understaffed and unable to provide what they said they could. . They definitely could improve not only the amount of staff, but the quality of their training and skills. Some do great, others are just there just to be there. I would not recommend them to friends and family.
