My mom is at Resting Nest. It's like being at home. Most of the people who work there are family-oriented. They treat their residents like their grandmothers. They're good with people. They have a lady with dementia, and they know how to deal with dementia and make her feel good. My mom likes it there. They have all been nice to her. Whatever she needs, they do. It's all home-cooked food, and it's good. They have art classes. They have a pool out front. Everybody has their own room, bathroom, and TV. It's like having your own bedroom at home. My mom is at Resting Nest. It's like being at home. Most of the people who work there are family-oriented. They treat their residents like their grandmothers. They're good with people. They have a lady with dementia, and they know how to deal with dementia and make her feel good. My mom likes it there. They have all been nice to her. Whatever she needs, they do. It's all home-cooked food, and it's good. They have art classes. They have a pool out front. Everybody has their own room, bathroom, and TV. It's like having your own bedroom at home. There are people 24-7, around the clock. So if my mama wakes up in the middle of the night, they'll help her in her wheelchair, bring her out there, talk to her, and watch TV. The lady who owns the place has her living quarters in the basement, and she cooks the food. It's awesome. Compared to what I was having to pay when she was in a nursing facility for a little while, this place is a lot less than that.

Awsome Place
Aesthetically, the home is warm, welcoming, clean as can be and furnished beautifully. The yards are manicured and inviting for relaxation. Every staff member has quickly become family. Whether in person or on the phone, each person is consistently knowledgeable, kind, caring. and on top of my mom’s condition. Mom is dressed each morning in a different outfit; her hair is done and always clean from head to toe. So important is Mom’s comfort and relationship with the healthcare staff. She is extremely happy at THE RESTING NEST. They asked for a list of Mom’s favorite foods and a list of what she WOULD NOT EAT. They eat in the dining room together or in their rooms if they don’t feel well. I could go on and on but as you can see, we are so excited Mom is loved and cared for there. If I could iI would give much more than a 5??????!!!
I would like to say that the review that gave a half star is so untrue! I have family there and have friends that there love ones are also there and it’s the only place I would ever refer to someone looking for quality care and love. The people that work there not only do a excellent job of caring for the residents but they make them like their family. They even are very loving toward the residents family. They treat each person there with the upmost love and care!
The experience with The Resting Nest is nothing more but above and beyond. They love on the residents, they treat them as if they are family! They get good home cooked meals, snacks and anything special they ask for. The owner is always going above the expectations for each resident. Not only do they go above and beyond for the residents but also the families. You could not ask for a better place for your loved one!
