They go above and beyond to make sure residents feel at home and families feel supported every step of the way. Whitney and Jennifer are always welcoming, responsive, and genuinely care about providing the best experience and care possible. It’s clear they have a heart for seniors and a passion for what they do. The Lakes Gainesville is lucky to have such an amazing team leading the way!
Such a lovely place staff are so amazing the food is so good the kitchen staff was so amazing I would recommend this place to others thank you for such a lovely place she's such awesome food

The Lakes at Gainesville has the absolute best staff! The care team go above and beyond the call. They truly make everyone family!
As one of the residents of the Lakes told me recently, “if you need to be in a place like this, the Lakes is the best place to be. I love it here,” he said. I agree with him as my mother was a resident of the Lakes, but i sadly had to move her to a sister facility with memory care due to her advanced dementia. Carly Applewhite is the executive director of the Lakes and she is absolutely the best! She is kind, compassionate, professional and extremely competent in her job. If I’ve ever had a question or request she’s on top of it immediately. There’s such a level of respect between Carly and her staff that radiates throughout the facility. The building is clean, well maintained and so filled with sunlight and happiness. The caregivers bond with the residents and it’s really just a unique environment. There’s always a special occasion/social happening that’s complete with decorations, theme type menu, and activities. If it’s time for your loved one to transition into assisted living, you will be so at peace with the Lakes and Carly.
