If you have any other option for your loved one, take it. Our mother was in this facility for a little over 2 years. Her care was acceptable for about a year. We were very present and involved. We raised red flags on multiple occasions to the social workers and the administrator that were all excused away to include the entire staff of a memory care unit leaving the entire floor unattended while they ate pizza in the break room. This was investigated and found to be true by the administrator who basically excused it away. Every time my mother fell or had a broken bone we were told that “they…

We raised red flags on multiple occasions to the social workers and the administrator that were all excused away to include the entire staff of a memory care unit leaving the entire floor unattended while they ate pizza in the break room. This was investigated and found to be true by the administrator who basically excused it away. Every time my mother fell or had a broken bone we were told that “they had turned their head for a second “. We were finally able to have her moved when she fell and broke her hip… once again, they had “turned their head for a second “. She was also molested by a male patient. We were initially told about the incident, but never given any follow up as to how the situation of it was addressed or how my mother would be protected in the future, except that they had “given him treatment” to which the administrator couldn’t explain what that was.

Review: “I admitted my mother to this rehabilitation center on Tift Avenue in Tifton about three years ago. During the first year, things seemed fairly decent. I understand no facility is perfect, but overall her care at that time felt acceptable. Unfortunately, as time went on, the quality of care declined. In the second year, I began noticing concerning issues—my mother frequently had unexplained bruises, and her anxiety worsened significantly. There was also an incident where she appeared to be overmedicated. I had to question the staff about it before any changes were made, and no one initially brought it to my attention. That lack of communication and oversight was very concerning. By the third year, the situation became unacceptable. My mother ended up hospitalized with a fractured knee and COVID pneumonia. She was extremely distressed, and it was clear to me that she was not receiving the level of care and attention she deserved. That was the point where we knew we had to get her out. What was most frustrating throughout this experience was the lack of accountability. Concerns were often met with excuses rather than clear answers or efforts to improve. Based on my experience, I would not recommend this facility to families who want consistent, attentive care for their Family members..

Maybe they need to feed a higher protein diet to their elderly guests. Protein is EXTREMELY important at their age

So I saw a notice on my windshield that I was parked in a loading area thou I was parked in the grass area near the exit. If you all don't want people parking in the grass area near the exit post a sign. But, that's too easy 🙄

This facility is filthy inside and outside. This facility is below staffing level. I visit my wife everyday and I see all of this first hand. I have yet to see any improvements in any area over the year I have been visiting my wife. There is one thing you will see, employees using their cell phones during work hours. Cell phones should be left in their vehicle or at home. The facility has a telephone and employees can be reached using that number. In my opinion all of the things that are suffering at this facility is due to poor management. This is an 8 - 5 job for the management, but I do believe they should be required to work during those hours. At the present time the kitchen floor is being removed to find a water leak. I'm not sure how the food is being prepared for the residents but they can't cook in the kitchen. There should always be a backup plan for any emergency, a Caterer would be the solution. My wife has been in the memory unit at this facility since 14 July 2021. I would have never believed this place could get worse. I have missed 6 days visiting my wife since her arrival July 15th 2021. I can honestly tell you the stuff you read on their website is mostly wrong. I am there when my wife gets her lunch, I feed her meal to her. Her meal has been cold so many times, I have talked to the Administrative office, to the woman in charge of the facility and told her I would buy one meal heating cabinet if she would buy one. She declined. The meal heating cabinet holds 26 meals on serving trays. On their home page you will read all the stuff they say they are providing to the residents.

Need more help to better care for patients.

Some how my father inlaw phone grew a leg 🦵🏼idk it went missing. I have call numerous times and spoke to different people that work there nobody knows where the phones at. The phone was used to communicate with my father-in-law because he is sick. The only entertainment that he has to watch is something on the iPhone. And they have not yet called me back to address the issue

Incredible Appreciation to the Staff at this facility! Every single person that my husband and I spoke to regarding the care of my brother-in-law was kind, patient, knowledgeable, and empathetic. Each staff member who was in contact with my brother-in-law exhibited a heart of gold. I have to say particular appreciation to the Director of Nurses, Sandra, for her diligence and care in diagnosing my brother-in-law to ensure he stayed safe. Then, going to extraordinary lengths to enable his relocation to the memory care. This was a challenging time for my husband and I, as it would be for anyone in this situation, but the staff at RCSG did there best to help both us and my brother-in-law every step of the way. To be clear when I mean everyone, I do not just mean the wonderful LPN Jasmine, and all the other nurses who took care of him physically. Indeed, I also mean from the standpoint of the tedious documentation that was involved, Chanelle was an angel to work with while dealing with the necessary paperwork. No one ever wants to go through a similar situation, but I hope if you do that you have a staff as supportive as this one. Thank you All!
