As far as the care of the residents, top notch. But the childish and petty management team have a long way to go.
The staff here is wonderful! They formed personal bonds with the Mama. They check on her often during the day to empty her catheter and see if she needs anything. Many of them know me by name and talk to me as I come and go. They dispense her meds and check her sugar levels several times a day. It's a beautiful facility, more like a nice motel. It's pricey, but they really care about the residents. I cannot say enough about the CFO and activities director and several of the staff that really love my Mama! She was in a wheelchair and on oxygen when she came last yr. Now she is off O2 and…

She was in a wheelchair and on oxygen when she came last yr. Now she is off O2 and walking the halls several times a day! She has friends! She paints, plays bingo and cards, put together puzzles until her eyesight got worse, enjoys "butterbean auctions", outings around Tifton on the bus & sitting on the front porch in the padded rockers. My only ding is the food. It's not always good or cooked well, and we keep Glucerna in her fridge for those meals she can't eat. But they are in the process of replacing their previous cook due to a stroke, so we're in transition right now. Hoping for a quick replacement. Overall, it's a great place to be.
What a blessing Maple Court has been to our family! My parents have been residents there for a year now. Joey and Becky are such faithful leaders while Katie keeps everyone occupied between meals and naps. We lost my dad in February, and could not have asked for a more peaceful and serene atmosphere during his final hours. The staff was accommodating to all of our needs as well as his. Mom continues to enjoy her time there. Maple Court has truly earned their 5-star rating from us!
Maple Court Senior Care was a very nice place. They helped mom with housekeeping once a week and with the little grocery items that she stocked in her little kitchenette. She relied on the transportation provided by the facility to take her to stores. They also did medication management, and that was nice. They had a couple of activities and smaller activities to get mom out and mingle. The building was decorated very nicely. It was shaped like an O. They had a front area and the major lobby area with the fireplace. Then they had all the rooms go all the way around. They had a central courtyard that had a fountain in it. They had areas to sit outside in the grass, so if you have dogs/little animals, you could take them out there. It was a closed courtyard, so you could actually take them off the leash and run around. It was really nice. The only thing was you had to eat what they cooked for everybody. You couldn't have something made special for you. That was the reason why sometimes mom didn't want to go down there and eat her food, but they could take the food up to your room if you want to. The price was expensive, around $4500 a month. For what we got, it seemed to be comparative. The staff developed a relationship with their residents and with my mom. They had certain residents that the workers bonded with, and they focused on that bond, which was nice.
I moved my mother here and there is no chance she is leaving. Each time i visit she talks about the people, staff and the food. She is in the best mood i have seen her in since my father passed away in 2009. I hesitated for too long i should have done this a year ago. Thank you Maple Court for making her feel welcome! 100% recommend.
What can I say about Maple Court? I visit so many of my friends there and it is always a blessing to see so many happy faces in one place. There is always something special going on and the atmosphere is just so inviting and comfortable that I hate it when I have to leave. Maple Court is beautiful inside and out....and the fine staff makes sure that things are running well. This IS home....in every sense of the word. ♥
We just moved my mother to Maple Court. She loves the staff and other residents. She now enjoys company at every meal. The staff tries hard to meet her every need. I have such peace of mind knowing she is cared for 24/7. I enjoy visiting. The atmosphere is warm, bright, and caring. Thanks Maple Court staff!
