My Brother-in-Law was fortunate to live at Orion Star for about 10+ years. Our family looked for several weeks to find a great space where he would be taken care of medically and emotionally. Orion Star was highly recommended by a medical professional. The care he received was excellent, as well as the emotional support he received. The care providers were always present, alert, comforting and kind. We could not have found a more perfect situation for him. The patience and steadfast medical care and concern were everything we expected. We loved them! We would recommend them to any family…

We would recommend them to any family looking for a great transition from their home to a space where they can thrive in the environment. Rosalind and Sam were always receptive to any needs we had. They provide a loving, safe space for loved ones.

Wonderful, family atmosphere, where my brother-in-law lived the last three years of his life. One of 2-3 caregivers is there round the clock with the four male residents, providing watchful oversight, medication administration, meals and snacks, assistance with ADLs and hygiene, laundry, intervention in medical emergencies (which he had several times as a result of a chronic illness), friendship and hugs. The recreation therapist is available several times a week. My BIL had a private bedroom and shared bathroom. The bedroom was small, but plenty of room for him, since there is quite a bit of…

Wonderful, family atmosphere, where my brother-in-law lived the last three years of his life. The recreation therapist is available several times a week. My BIL had a private bedroom and shared bathroom. The bedroom was small, but plenty of room for him, since there is quite a bit of shared living space, including a back patio and a front porch where he watched the hummingbirds and hawks and enjoyed the flowers in the garden. The owner/director has a background of critical care nursing and is very hands on. Our family definitely recommends Orion Star PCH!

I really like Orion Star. The only reason I didn't choose it was because my mom didn't want to share a room, and that's all they had available. The residents looked alive. They curtailed their meals. The staff member was telling me about a garden that the residents tend. They grow their own vegetables. Orion Star is a small place, it is like a house, but it is really clean. The person who talked to me was very knowledgeable. If push comes to shove, that would have been a place I would have picked. They have three bedrooms. Two of rooms were occupied by males, and the big one was the one…

Two of rooms were occupied by males, and the big one was the one shared by the females. The rooms didn't have televisions, but you can bring your own. For more than five people, the place is not bad. Everything is clean and nice; however, the hallways are small.

This place has truly been a Godsend for my precious grandfather! We could not be more pleased with the round-the-clock care he receives from his wonderful caregivers. While his mental impairments can be challenging at times, he is so happy at Orion Star and loves being at “home”. I live out of state and visit as often as I can. His caregivers always have him clean, well-fed, and happy when I stop by. Previous care facilities in the area offered the complete opposite type of care. I’m forever grateful to the owners and caregivers of Orion Star for the loving care they provide.

My father-in -law has been here for over 2 years. When he arrived he was barely functional. He gained strength and stamina through activity, excellent nutrition, and watchful care. The staff and owners are just very superior to work with. My nieces, nephews, children and the entire family could not be more pleased with all aspects of his care and the attentiveness of all who work there. We are blessed that individuals such as these are available.

I cannot say enough great things about this property. The owners (husband and wife ) are wonderful, caring people who pay close attention to their caregivers as well as their residents and their families. My father has been a resident at this home for a little over 2 years. I believe he would not have survived had I left him where he was in 2016. After a few phone calls and visiting a couple of homes, I knew right away that Orion Star Personal Care Home was the right place for him. [Name removed] and the staff of excellent caregivers that work there are the most caring, patient and loving people that I have ever met in this field. They provide very healthy, good meals, and provide what ever care my dad needs (showers, laundry, exercise, etc.) As a retired nurse, my expectations of patient care are very high, and these people have not let me down in any way. My father suffers from severe dementia and needs a lot of personal care and patient people to provide his care. They have not let me or our family down in any way. I wish that I had known about [name removed] and Orion Star before my mother passed away. Many thanks to all of you at Orion Star.

We were so blessed to find this personal care home for our Dad. The care is excellent and the care givers take such good care of him. If we had left him in a nursing home, he would have died from the poor care he was receiving. When we found Orion Star and moved him there, he was able to walk again and blossomed under their care so well. We all are truly thankful for the great care he receives at Orion Star. He has been there two years and is so happy and well taken care of.

This property was our favorite but unavailable. This is the type of facility and care we would seek.
