The activities department does an amazing job with keeping the residents moving and getting out of there rooms to meet and make friends but really more like family. If i had any issues good ,bad ,and indifferent i could always count on Nurse Julia, Kenya , and Sonya to hear me out and do the best that they can to resolve the situation. If your looking for a short-term or long-term care facility please go do a tour i think you would like it. I want to thank Ms. Mary for following up with me after I was home to make sure I had my meds, the home health contacted me and or came out to my house to see me.

Hello I want to say first and foremost this facility is a great place for your loved ones and have a lot of caring nursing assistants. I want to say Dimond has been a great inspiration to my aunt and has warmed my heart in so many ways caring for her. I really appreciate all hard work and dedication from her and I hope to meet many people with the beautiful heart she has .
I don’t usually leave reviews but after my visit I had to share my experience. The warm greeting I received from Sonya and Kenya immediately made me feel like I was in the right place. Kenya gave me a tour of the facility thoroughly answering every question I had with patience and explaining everything I needed to know. I was impressed by the cleanliness and customer service. This place gets 5 stars from me Thank you Kenya
I’ve visited Tucker Nursing Home and Rehab Center on several occasions with my choir, where we come to minister in song to the residents. Every time I’ve been there, China has been exceptionally pleasant, welcoming, and helpful. She always assists with bringing the residents to the cafeteria so they can enjoy the music, and her kindness and compassionate spirit never go unnoticed. It’s clear that she genuinely cares about the residents and goes the extra mile to make sure they feel included. Thank you China, for your professionalism, warm smile, and dedication. You are truly a blessing to the residents and to everyone who visits.
I would like to recognize an excellent nurse — Cynthia Murray — who works in the llllong term care unit. She is compassionate, patient, and truly dedicated to providing quality care to her patients. She always goes above and beyond to make sure residents feel heard, supported, and comfortable during their recovery. Her professionalism, positive attitude, and strong clinical skills make a huge difference on the unit. She is dependable, caring, and a great asset to the rehab team.
My loved one was recently admitted to Tucker Nursing & Rehab, and the experience has been wonderful from the very beginning. On the first night, Bobbi in Admissions went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. Our loved one was very nervous about staying, but Bobbi’s warm personality, sense of humor, and professionalism immediately put everyone at ease. She made the transition feel much less overwhelming and truly made us feel like family. The next day, Mandy, the Director of Nursing, came by and took the time to answer all of our questions. She was knowledgeable, patient, and reassuring, which gave us even more confidence in the care our loved one would receive. The facility is clean and well-maintained, and the nurses and CNAs have all been friendly, caring, and attentive. One of our favorite things is hearing our loved one talk about the activities. Every visit comes with stories about something fun they participated in, and it’s clear the staff works hard to keep residents engaged and enjoying themselves. We are very grateful for the kindness and care our family has experienced at Tucker Nursing & Rehab and would highly recommend them to others.
I really hate having to leave this review, but after watching what my loved one has experienced, I feel like I need to speak up. One of the biggest issues at this facility is the way some of the nurses speak to the CNAs. I’ve personally witnessed nurses confront aides in a nasty, disrespectful way right in front of residents and family members. I’ve seen it happen more than once. It’s uncomfortable to watch, unprofessional, and honestly made me feel bad for the aides who were already working short-staffed and doing the best they could. There is one nurse in particular, I believe her name is Carolyn, who runs the weekend shift. She is extremely confrontational. The way she speaks to people can be disturbing to witness, and you can clearly tell there is a bullying culture among some of the staff. Nobody should feel comfortable talking down to their coworkers the way I’ve seen happen there. My concerns don’t stop there. Wound care is clearly being missed. I’ve come in and found bandages that were leaking through, heavily soiled, and sometimes dated several days earlier. Medication is also consistently late. I understand there are staffing shortages, turnover, and medication windows, but at some point those explanations stop mattering when patients are the ones suffering because of it. Another issue is Laurena on evening shift. I’ve personally witnessed requests for PRN medications being ignored. When you’re sitting there watching someone you love uncomfortable and waiting for relief, it’s incredibly frustrating. The facility has some serious issues that need to be addressed, especially when it comes to accountability, communication, and the way staff members treat both residents and each other. That being said, I do want to recognize a couple of people who stood out. Amlia, one of the CNAs, was always sweet and took time to have conversations with my mom. Those little interactions meant a lot. Niecey was also very helpful. She reminded nurses about my mother’s bandages and made sure she was turned appropriately instead of just assuming someone else would handle it.The CNAs seem to carry a lot of the burden in this building, and some of them genuinely care. Unfortunately, the overall culture and lack of follow-through from certain nursing staff overshadow the positive experiences. I truly hope management takes these concerns seriously because the residents deserve better.
