Sunrise John's creek was a 4, only because they didn’t tell me when I moved him in that they were getting sold a few weeks later. never talked to the new owners. The new owners didn't communicate and when they decided to close they really pushed everyone out. My dad did really like it there.

The facility was great while it lasted. It was sold to another company so we had to relocate to another facility. We had no complaints about the Sunrise community, we felt the staff, services and accommodations were great and we would recommend them to other families.

Unfortunately both of my parents passed away within the past year while residing at Sunrise. Shortly before my father died the facility was sold. We found out later that it was being converted to an independent living facility by the new owners (Phoenix). The residents had been given 90 days to find new homes. The staff was in limbo over their jobs. We were so fortunate that the change did not occur before our Dad's passing. Having to give up familiar surroundings and friends must have been devastating for the residents. I'd just like to say that we became very close to the staff caring for…

Unfortunately both of my parents passed away within the past year while residing at Sunrise. Shortly before my father died the facility was sold. The staff was in limbo over their jobs. We were so fortunate that the change did not occur before our Dad's passing. Having to give up familiar surroundings and friends must have been devastating for the residents. I'd just like to say that we became very close to the staff caring for our parents. They were like family for the short time we were there and I wish them the best.

They are great with communication. They are always keeping me in the loop, it has been top-notch. The food could have some more variety. Activities were lacking outside of movie night. They could have some more outings outside of visiting Walmart.

I toured and the community was clean, and the parking lot was nice, but the food was not good. The rooms are spacious and clean. The staff is courteous. They have crafts and music, and they have a hairstylist.

For us, it has the "homey" feeling. Others that we looked at felt to clinical. We also liked the smaller size of Sunrise. We felt our loved one would have been uncomfortable and/or intimidated at some of the larger facilities. From the beginning, the staff was great. My wife was there several times a week and the staff adored her and her them. Communication was great. Lastly, we had several brunches there and thought the food was very good. We would absolutely recommend Sunrise at Ivey Ridge.

Sunrise has done a great job for me and my mother in law. This has been a very difficult experience trying to navigate everything through some rough circumstances but the staff at sunrise has been there and us and has responded to our needs in a very helpful manner. Especially Autumn and Star have gone above and beyond and have really made this difficult experience doable. Im so grateful for Sunrise and its people! I recommend this community to anyone in need!!!

Housekeeping is inconsistent, at best. Often rooms aren't cleaned and linens are not changed. In the beginning, laundry was not done but that has gotten a little better. So far every bill has been incorrect and has required me to contact them. Most staff dealing with residents are good, but management is unresponsive and defensive. Communication is essentially non existent. The move in was completely independent, no one welcoming us other than sign at front desk or explaining things to us. Had 2 "outbreaks" so far. 1 was never communicated and the 2nd was communicated long after it had begun. I have to be MUCH more involved after moving her in than I was when she lived independently. I would probably not recommend it highly to anyone.
