I had suffered some debilitating physical problems. Among them weight loss. 35 lbs in about two months. Mostly due to thievery as all as other wrong actions committed by family and old friends. I'd spent the pay forty odd years in Montana training horses and inn Florida makinga real good living painting cars. Then, 100%disabled by the paint booths I thought to come back to Northwest Georgia and reunite with family and reaffirm old friendships. Bad move. Then, 100%disabled by the paint booths I thought to come back to Northwest Georgia and reunite with family and reaffirm old friendships. Bad move. This area had become squidville on dope with half the economy held up by petty crime. They got me for thousands with sad stories and promises then collectively ostracized me once my illness required thatI have help making doctor appointments and getting my meds. I didn't know they had been robbing me. We do not see the world as it is but as we are. So i end up in the hospital in Rome. They set me up for p physical rehab in this Evergreen place. What a level of Hell itself. My first day thereI could not geta single dose of medication. The good was all grease and salt or grease and sugar. Straight poison. Within ten hours i was being hauled out in an ambulance. Severe chemical induced asthma attack. I was lucky to live. Only send your aged relatives there if you want them to suffer early death.

This place needs to be closed . Roaches and foul smell of urine . Patients are like a zombie . They are mistreated . Patients laying in the hallway . The state needs to close this place . The nurses are the Worst . Please close this roach motel

The nurses my mom had was very kind to my mom. But the whole time she was there she kept having a lot of falls. Broke both hips and broke her wrist, many times had bruises on her face and body. I had hospice to come in for extra help. For a long time I thought she was allergic to the soap they were washing clothes in. Come to find out when she was passing she had scabies from not being cleaned the right way. When she passed, family members had caught this from her. She had very nice and amazing nurses, but every time I went to see her close to the end of her life she was always sitting in the…

Come to find out when she was passing she had scabies from not being cleaned the right way. When she passed, family members had caught this from her. She had very nice and amazing nurses, but every time I went to see her close to the end of her life she was always sitting in the hallway in her wheelchair alone. IDK how other nursing homes are but never buy your Loved one expensive clothing they always get lost and they are always wearing someone else's clothes I'm not lashing out I'm telling the truth. I love Miracle, Denise and her nighttime nurse Tasha. They were very good to her. I know she had dementia but to me it seemed like she was forgotten about in there with her hygiene. TY!

My grandmother has been with Evergreen for a few years now and she has always been treated with the utmost respect. I would not want her anywhere else. All the staff, nurses and cna’s, give all the residents the love and support they need to help them each day. When you visit your family it’s like you are visiting with your extended family. Love Evergreen Best place for your loved ones!!

My dad had to go into this nursing home. And he can be difficult. These wonderful people has worked with him . And he absolutely loves this place. All I get from him is praise for the nurses and staff. I am truly thankful for these people.

Both my parents were at Evergreen at different times. I most appreciated the communication I received when there was any change. I would recommend to any of my family or friends looking for placement
