The entire staff at Riverwood made the transition for my dad so easy and worry-free. Everyone was so welcoming and friendly. We have full confidence that he will be taken care of each and every day.
Fantastic events, age appropriate & provides time with family for important celebrations!

I am extremely disappointed with the level of care and follow-through at this assisted living facility. One of the main services we were told would be provided was transportation to doctor’s appointments. The rides have been scheduled properly through the appropriate channels, yet not once has the facility followed through with actually taking my loved one. The activities director also posts a full schedule of activities, but these activities rarely – if ever – actually occur. These are services we are paying for, and my loved one is not receiving them. I have addressed every one of these concerns directly with the director, yet nothing changes. It feels as though my concerns fall on deaf ears, which is incredibly disappointing when you are entrusting someone with the care of a loved one. The care remains inconsistent, communication is lacking, and the reliability we were promised simply is not there. I expected better, and my loved one deserves better.
I love this place. My dad had to be placed into memory care on very short notice. Tamara was great finding him a room and getting everything set up. The facility is always very clean and the staff were absolutely amazing with my dad and our family. The staff truly care about the residents and their families.
Everyone is so great with my Dad. He brags on them every time I go see him. The staff is always friendly and it’s obvious they have a great rapport with the residents.
Everything was in its place very clean very kept and the lady out incident was very happy about the visit in her room
