The staff was quite friendly and helpful while my Dad was a resident here. I unfortunately had a bad experience with the current Director, Tina. She was focused more on charging additional fees than sufficient care. As my Dad's mobility declined, communication regarding the administering of "as needed" medications was not happening and there was no accountability on the facility side when he had a bad reaction to these meds. I had to relocate my Dad immediately to control costs and to ensure that family would be notified of any medications being added to his regimen. Moving him was traumatic…
Moving him was traumatic for him, but necessary. I had a very disappointing experience with this administration as I was told he would be able to age in place here. The Director was less. than flexible and tried to force charges to my bill. Additional concerns are that there was never anyone available at the desk after hours and it took 45 mins of response time for the alert buttons in the evening, and the food quality dramatically declined over the last six month.
My mom loves Brookdale Rome! She feels safe and well cared for there. They keep them busy with lots of activities during the day. She loves being there and that gives me peace and comfort knowing she is happy!
Brookdale has been a wonderful place for our Mother. She has been there almost 5 years. The staff treats her like family and we can sleep well at night knowing she is in a safe place. We highly recommend this facility
We love Brookdale Rome! It’s been a Godsend for our parents! The entire team is totally devoted to the resident’s comfort and well-being and our folks live the food and entertainment. Our Mom and Dad are 89 and 87 and they are thriving at Brookdale !
Quality and convenience to our and daughter's residence. I would recommend to others.
We are in the process of moving my mother-in-law to Brookdale Rome. The rooms are very modern. We are doing the only double suite that they have in the building. It's clean, painted, and ready to move in. The staff who gave the tour was very helpful. They were very pleasant. They gave a comprehensive review of the facility. They answered all our questions. And overall, it was just a pleasant experience. It's going to be assisted living because my mother-in-law is getting her meals, she is getting linens washed once a week, and she's getting the garbage picked up daily. She still needs to move in though.
I toured Brookdale Rome. It's beautiful. I loved it. When you walk in the door, it's kind of like your home. The interior is nice. It's just a nice building. I would love to go there. I just don't have the funds for that. The staff that showed me around was super nice. She was great.
My dad had a wonderful experience at Brookdale Assisted Living in Rome, Ga. Our family knew he was cared for, loved, and wanted. He made many friends, but more importantly, the staff became his extended family. They recognized his need for reassurance, encouragement, and purpose especially after his beloved wife passed. Until the day my dad passed away he was rarely alone. The care takers called him by name. In fact, every worker knew his name. He dearly loved them. Many thanks to the management and entire staff for loving my dad and going out of your way everyday. You made a difference in his life.
