The most impressive thing is how much the staff cares. On that alone they get five stars. Rehabilitation is excellent as well. Great staff that is there to see improvement. Facility needs remodeling but apart from that excellent. The NP and doctor, the nursing staff and the CNA’s are all great.

My dad went here for rehabilitation after being in 2 different Hospitals. Because of the nurses, PT, and Latoya, I will give 5 stars. My dad went here from some pretty traumatic all of a sudden hospital experiences and they worked with him and tried to get him as well as possible. Latoya is a very compassionate and experienced nurse who got my dad well enough to go home.

Visited a friend who recently went to the Woodstock Nursing and Rehab Center. Had a very nice visit and even met one of the nurses who was at another rehab facility last year when I had my left hip replaced. It was nice to see her at the facility. Had my service dog with me and one of the ladies who was a patient asked if I could go in and see her roommate as she was a bit down and seeing my service dog might pick up her spirits. I thought this was very thoughtful of her. I did go see her roommate with my service dog and it brought a smile to her face. We didn’t stay long but when we left her…

I thought it was nice of the lady’s roommate to think of her and look out for her too.

Believe the 1 star reviews and complaints. My mom broke her femur, Kennestone got her on a waitlist for Ross in Acworth but at the time of her discharge still no bed so they picked this place. By the time I looked up reviews (also across the web) and called my dad to say NO they were already in route. She had to wear a diaper because she could not walk without assistance. The push button on the beds for the nurse is just a push button, no speaker. She pushed in the evening for a change, her roommate had diarrhea and also pushed. 12 hours later when PT showed up to get her she said "oh I cant today im still waiting on a nurse to change me" Her PT had to go track someone down to help my mom and her roommate get cleaned up. My dad went for a visit and she had been waiting 2hrs for a diaper change. She would not let him go complain because she feared she would be treated worse. Absolutely no one should be sitting 2-12 hours in a soiled diaper. She was there 6 days and never got a bath. When they decided to just check her out the desk staff was shocked at the reasons why. There are way too many complaints on here for staff to act like they have no idea what is going on. Add the fact the place looks like it was built in the 70s and has never been taken care of. Parts of walls missing, sheet rock showing. Her roommate said part of the roof collapsed recently. If you care about your loved one find another place and keep them at home until you do.

It's only a 2star facility, but most of the employees are really nice and kind to the patients. The food is usually not that great, although they do at times surprise with a quite tasty meal. I think they may be understaffed, as patients wait longer than they should have to for cleanup. Probably underpaid, too. I hear they are in the process of hiring new people. Many cannot afford the nicer places, but WNH is clean and everyone I've seen seems content.

They suck. Zero stars. They treat people who are adult protected horribly. I was lied on, emotionally abused, and verbally abused. When they don't want to help you, they make up lies and cover up the truth. They hurt good employees and families with lies.

My Mom was brought to this facility last night. It is the worst thing we have ever seen. My Mom needs oxygen 24/7 and her's was not working. She kept hitting the call button and no one came. The call button is broke along with most every thing else. The staff just hang out in hallways chatting while the residents have to scream for help that does not come. If you have any care for your loved ones DO NOT take them here. This place was the placement that Wellstar hospital sent her to. Absolutely no care for the residents. I am going to find out who to report this facility to.

My father was transferred to this facility from the hospital for rehab. He was only there for about 16 hours before he passed away, but those 16 hours will haunt me for the rest of my life. From my experience, the administration knows what to say and how to treat people with care, but the assigned nursing staff could not care less about the patients. My dad arrived complaining of a headache. We had to beg them for Tylenol which when they finally provided it his nurse proceeded to crush and force into his mouth with no water (he was still capable of swallowing). We discussed with the nurse the medications my father needs and they let me know that it would likely be at least a day before he received any of his prescribed medicines because they just don't have extras for new patients in their supply closets and need to wait usually a day for them to be delivered. They delivered this news in an "I don't care" attitude like I've never seen. They would not allow him out of bed until he was evaluated by therapy, which I understand, so they promised his depends would be checked and changed every 2 hours to keep him clean and dry. During his time there he was NEVER checked or changed even once. After a couple of hours he lost consciousness, we asked nursing staff to come and check on him, they responded that it was almost shift change and that it would be a while before anyone could come check his vitals. When they did come in they said, "Oh, he's sleeping good" just by glancing at him. When we pressed for someone to check his vitals our nurses response was, "He's DNR. What does it matter?" After about 2 hours of waiting on the nurses, EMS finally had to come to check him and the paramedic pulled me aside and said to call them anytime because they've found that they can usually respond to a patient's room faster than the nursing staff on site. My father had a roommate, and that gentleman pressed his call button for over 2 hours to ask for assistance to go to the bathroom. NO ONE ever responded and he had to wet himself in a depends until his family member arrived to help him. Additionally, when walking around I noticed that patients are stacked in rooms like sardines. 2 and 3 to a room so tight its difficult to get through and there isn't even room for a chair in the room for loved ones to visit. The halls are littered with elderly people scooting around or sleeping in wheelchairs in the saddest state of loneliness and are generally ignored. Please don't send your loved ones here. Again, I will be haunted by this decision for the rest of my life. As far as nursing goes, this is a place that you go to die, not heal.
