Here’s a warm review you could post: ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ We had such a wonderful time at the Family Fun Night! It was so thoughtful of the Westbury Center Of McDonough to bring families and the community together. The free food was delicious, and there were plenty of fun activities to keep the kids entertained. It was heartwarming to see the residents, staff, and families all enjoying time together. Everyone was welcoming, organized, and kind. Thank you for creating such a special event—we truly appreciate all the effort that went into making it a memorable evening for everyone. We look forward to the next…

Overall, I have been pleased with the care my father has received at this facility. The nursing home is clean and well-maintained, and the staff members (Ms. Dora/Ms. Bapties, spelling may be off) are pleasant, respectful, and caring. I appreciate the communication they provide regarding my father's care, especially since I live in Ohio and am unable to be there regularly. Their willingness to keep me informed gives me peace of mind. The care my father receives has been good, and I feel that his needs are being met. My only concern was the speed of his discharge process, which felt rushed and could have been handled with more preparation and communication. Despite that concern, my overall experience has been positive, and I am grateful for the staff's dedication and the attention they provide to my father.
The entire staff and nurses have been great. They take great care of my husband. Even when he's not being nice. They're very understanding for there patients who need memory care.
Where to begin…. My mother was here from December 2025 to her passing in May of 2026. Good shout outs to Jackie and the wound care nurse Marie. They are compassionate and wonderful. The others.. missed medicine doses, no water refilling, additional bed sores, a general lack of concern for patients. The food is disgusting. With the exception of the two aforementioned nurses, the nurses are rude, uncaring and unprofessional. LT is particularly nasty. The place constantly smells of urine and feces. Mia, is very unclear when going over Medicaid paperwork. They trick you into signing that you will be responsible for parents room and board. There were complaints of sexual assaults on dementia patients. Find somewhere else. Anywhere else.
The staff has been super helpful in the admissions process and in providing professionally skilled care to our mother. They keep us updated on her progress. They even have an app to send video messages. Their caring for our mom has provided peace of mind.
The place is OK. But many of the employees just do what they have to do and very little pro-active work. You really have to complain to get something positive done. The food they serve is horrible and I bet those that create the menu would not feed what they fix to their families. Example, on May 2nd for dinner, they served two pieces of white bread, with two thin slices of packaged meat of some type and a thin slice of cheese. A scoop of nasty instant potatoes and a few pieces of dry pears. Only condiment was one pack of ketchup. No mayo or anything else. Plus nothing to drink at all. Most meals are cold by the time they are served and this is very representative of the meals they serve. Sometimes they serve a OK meal but overall most are horrible. Hotdog on a bun and nothing to go on it, very bland, very small portions of food. Breakfast is OK, if it's still warm but if not it's not worth eating. Even to staff said most of the patients complain about the food.
