This was suggested to our family by Community Cares. It is HORRIBLE it is in a BAD area of town, and I have been in a SNF myself for rehab, and I would not go to this one even for a short time. Just because CCS says they will pay for something does not mean it is in the best interest of the patient or family or both, One walk thru or even partially and you will know this is not the place you need to be. No wonder there is not many people here.
Shady Oaks was one of the best facilites in our area. The price was less expensive than the others. They have rooms with a bathroom in it. The lady that owns the place is a registered nurse. The staff were nice and they have someone capable of handling medications and giving them to the patients when they are due. They take good care of my mother. I have not eaten there, but I saw that the food they serve looks good and my mom likes it.
Liked this one least. Not the nicest area of town.
