When my mom was discharged from Kennestone Hospital and transitioned to Ross Memorial Health Care Center for rehabilitation, we were greeted warmly by the concierges, Joyce and Darlene. They were both exceptional. They took the time to explain the services, amenities, and accommodations offered by Ross Memorial, which immediately gave me confidence and peace of mind about my mom’s transition into the facility. Placing a loved one in a rehabilitation facility, even for a short-term stay, is a significant life event that often brings a wide range of emotions for both the individual and their family. From the very beginning, the entire Ross Memorial team made us feel welcomed, supported, and reassured. Throughout my mom’s stay, we continued to receive guidance, encouragement, and compassionate care from the staff. The entire team did an excellent job caring for my mom, but there were several individuals whose service truly stood out. Morgan was absolutely outstanding. Her professionalism, compassion, and willingness to help were evident every day, and I frequently noticed other CNAs seeking her assistance because of her knowledge and experience. I would also like to recognize Sarah, Alexandra, Alexis, Hermel, and Sandra, who consistently provided attentive and compassionate care. The physical therapists, administrative staff, and the many other support team members were equally helpful and professional. I was especially impressed by the housekeeping and laundry staff, who kept the facility clean, comfortable, and welcoming throughout my mom’s stay. Overall, our experience at Ross Memorial Health Care Center exceeded our expectations. I am sincerely grateful to everyone who played a role in my mom’s recovery and well-being. Before having my mom admitted to Ross Memorial Health Care Center, my husband and I decided to tour the facility. Ms. Darlene was very warm, helpful and thoroughly provided a plethora of information making it easy to make an informed decision. Thus far, we are very happy with Ross Memorial as they are providing excellent care for my mom. Ms. Joyce is a breath of fresh air and makes everyone feel at home when walking through the front door with her lively personality. There are no words to express my gratitude to Nurse Emma! She has encouraged me and given advice, to help with my mom’s needs, when I was needed support. Ross is not only a place of work for Emma, it is truly her ministry as she leads with love and a big heart. Mercy was also helpful with making sure my mother’s medications were up to date. I would recommend Ross Memorial to friends and family. We are grateful for the care and attention we have received.
