PruittPlace has been a wonderful community. The staff is exceptional, it is very clean, an inviting front desk and team members. Always a friendly face around every corner. The community smells good, and is decorated for all the holidays. Something for everyone to enjoy. A smaller cozy feel with a beautifully maintained building and grounds. They are great at planning fun activities. Putting in the effort planning and hosting community events. Just wanted to give my opinion of this property when it can be such a process to make decisions for their loved ones during a need for extra care.

My mother was recently diagnosed with dementia. She moved in at Pruitt Place Kennesaw on New Year’s Eve. Because of her disease, my mother requires extra attention. The leadership and staff at Pruitt Place Kennesaw have been fantastic with the level of care and love that they show my mom. I sleep well at night knowing she’s in the right place with so many people that care about her.

Let me start by saying that while no place is perfect, what matters the most is prioritizing the important things, especially when it comes to caring for someone you love. It’s scary to trust strangers to care for mom the same way I do but the care at PruittPlace Kennesaw is hands down the most amazing group of people. I looked at a lot of places, compared prices, location and look. While dated (it’s a 20+ year old building) I had to put looks at lower priority and instead focus on the staff and how they interacted with residents. Most of the team has been there over 10 years and one amazing…

Most of the team has been there over 10 years and one amazing lady Megan for 18 years! It’s been almost a year and I can’t say enough about the whole team there. There are things that need to be improved but they are open to feedback and finding a way to make it right.

As soon as we brought my mother to Pruitt Place, we recognized instantly that all of the staff do this as a calling and not just as a job. I am certain that my mother is the highest maintenance person to ever stay at the Kennesaw location and yet they take care of her without fail 24/7. I am amazed at what these wonderful caregivers put up with on a daily basis, and I recognize that it is an incredibly difficult and often thankless job. I have nothing but great things to say and immense gratitude for the folks that have dedicated their time and efforts toward caring for the residents who call Pruitt Place their home.

I moved my loved one to Memory Care at Pruitt Place in Kennesaw in November 2025. I have been extremely pleased with the kind care he receives. The staff has communicated well with me and I can tell that they truly care about my friend. He has had some challenging behaviors. They have been patient and work with his hospice to help him be as comfortable as possible. This facility is older than his prior facility and it doesn't look as fancy, but the quality of care is far more compassionate and generous.

We’re spending approximately $70k per year for my father to live here. Since the Pruitt Place takeover the experience has just gone down hill. It started with poor internet so now my dad can’t even watch baseball with no options provided, followed up by things constantly disappearing from his room, to now him having an injury with an infection so bad he may have to have IV antibiotics. I call and ask to discuss with someone and I just get a CYA call with little regard for the situation, my father, or treating me like someone paying significant $ for my father’s care. This place is close to us but sadly it has gone downhill. Interested to hear if others are having similar experiences. Time for us to find something new.

It's a great place and we are glad we made this choice. They are changing ownership to [facility removed] this Wednesday. Yes I would definitely recommend

My mother-in-law had been a resident at Legacy Ridge at Brookstone for over two years. She lived in independent living and then until she passed several months ago she was in the memory care area. I’ve personally gone to a great number of nursing homes and assisted living facilities providing patient care.I’ve been in a lot of facilities and I was always impressed with the staff’s personal care of residents and the facilities cleanliness. They treated the residents like they would have treated their own family. From the administrator, Hudie Langston, and all the staff and caregivers they were very caring and easy to work with. The administration was always very responsive to any of our family’s requests. My wife and I deeply appreciate the love and care my mother-in-law received at Legacy Ridge at Brookstone. We highly recommend this facility. They will certainly take good care of your loved one.
