Regency House of Buford

Finding a senior living community for my dad was not an easy decision, but I’m so glad we chose this place. From day one, the staff has been incredibly kind, patient, and attentive. They truly care about the residents, making sure they feel comfortable and engaged. My dad has been adjusting really well, and it’s amazing to see him enjoying the activities and socializing more. Knowing he’s in a place where he’s well cared for gives me and my family so much peace of mind. I highly recommend this community to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming environment for their loved one.

We were hopeful that this place would be better than the rest. It was clean and the staff seemed nice. Unfortunately, nursing homes are only as good as their staff. During my mother’s stay the nursing staff didn’t follow protocol and it resulted in my mother falling and having to go to the ER due a hematoma from the fall. Luckily, she recovered well but it could have ended badly, especially as someone with a history of falls and a brain injury from the year before. The administration knew she had a severe fear of falling and extra precautions should have been taken. I was really disappointed.

The staff is absolutely wonderful and truly care for my mom. They are priced just right and have good facilities and activities. They have taken the time to get to know my mom to help draw her out and make her welcome. When I visit, they always know me and give me updates, from the med techs to the medical director to the PT guy. As for the facility, the rooms are beautiful and spacious and less expensive than others I have seen.
