PruittHealth - Austell

My grandmother has been in long term care with Pruitt since Jan 2026, and I can honestly say that since then Pruitt has failed tremendously! If other options(beds) at other facilities were available, I would have moved her months ago! The aids couldn’t care less about the residents. They leave call lights ringing for hours at a time. If the family isn’t coming in to check on their family neither are the aids. There are a very select few nurses who do show genuine concern, but you still can’t get much done through any of them. Messages were being withheld from the nurse manager so she wasn’t getting my messages of concern. It has taken almost 4 months to get an eye exam scheduled for my grandmother after her glasses were accidentally thrown away. They can’t find her dentures that clearly has her name engraved into them. Speaking with administration is dead end as they won’t call you back or fulfill your requests. I called one day and spoke to the administrator and called back the next week to follow up on my request and they had a different one! They are VERY UNPROFESSIONAL and THE STATE needs to come in and shut this place down. Yesterday, July 17, 2026, my grandma’s roommate informed me that she woke up soaked in urine clothes sheets and all because no one came in to change her before bed. That’s insanity! I’ve been told on several occasions how they walk into the room yelling asking what they want and how they act as if it’s a problem that they need help. This is unacceptable and needs to be evaluated. No one should have to worry about their wellbeing and safety when they are paying facilities every month for their care. Nothing is expected to be done on time but the collection of their payment.
