Staff Is so committed to their community. Smiles after smiles lead by a power leader TESS. THIS TEAM PUTS THEIR RESIDENTS FIRST
Lotus Park Douglasville is a warm and welcoming community. The staff is attentive, engaged, and committed to meeting the needs of their residents. I was impressed by how hard the team works to ensure everyone feels comfortable and cared for. Their dedication is notable. Keep shining!
Wonderful community!
Terrible facility. I wouldn’t waste my time, money, or breath. The staff is extremely rude and unprofessional.
I toured Oaks at Douglasville. It was very clean, and the inside was all open. They had individual rooms where no one shared rooms. They had their private suite, bedroom, bathroom, and kitchenette. The dining area was like a restaurant. You can choose what you want to eat that day from the menu.
As is somewhat typical with these type of facilities, there is a moderately high turnover rate of staff. Over the past year, Oaks has changed directors once, activities directors 3 times, and has a part time person at the desk. They have changed food service staff twice and have a hard time keeping more than one full time house keeper for residents rooms. My dad, who is the resident, said the food quality has gone down when they changed food service and they have to wait almost an hour to get their food after arriving in the dining room. Maybe that is normal, I don't know. Activities that are more stimulating such as a book club would be nice
I would say that they are very, very responsive to any need. The residents are obviously very happy, open and friendly. The entire process of applying was made personable and as simple as possible. Everything was upfront and honest with no hidden issues. The number of resident is high enough to create a very diverse and varied community, which is exactly what we were looking for.
The tour we had of the Oaks at Douglasville was great. It's very nice, and the people were very nice too. Everything is organized. They showed us around assisted living and the rooms we saw had appliances like a refrigerator and microwave. The person who took us around was very nice. They had some nice outdoor areas to sit in, like the big patio we saw.
