4.4 · 50 reviewsI toured this community while in town visiting family. The community is beautiful but more importantly it is warm and welcoming. I've worked in healthcare for over 20 years and when you find a great place, you just know.
I'm happy that my family members are no longer residing in this overpriced, toxic environment. It's extremely pricey to live, there are no amenities unless bingo is your thing. The CNAs and nurses couldn't care less about the residents and Natasha is the absolute worst. She's abusive and speaks down to the residents. Some residents are afraid of her. The food is always a challenge. Tasteless repetitive meals over and over and always running out of simple items. Its about 5 grand a month to live at this assisted living. Choose wisely when looking for a place for Mom.
WENDY HARSHAW AND PASCHA WILLIAMS TWO OF THE GREAT ADMINISTRATORS AT THE DOUBGLASVILLE FACILTY RUN A GREAT PLACE TO STAY. I WAS THERE FOR MY REHAB PHYSICAL THERAPY. MEALS WERE GOOD THE ROOMS WERE CLEAN. COMPARED TO OTHER ASSISTED CARE FACILITIES THIS PLACE WAS PLACE WAS HEADS ABOVE THE REST. BRIAN MULLEN FORMER RESIDENT

Understaff and ED is mean
Harmony was amazing and housed my 100 year old grandmother. She was fed healthy yummy food. The activities kept her entertained. The facility was always clean. Wendy, Posha, and Ernestine the RN were so amazing along with the other staff members that loved on my grandmother while she was there. I am truly greatful. My grandmother transitioned Aug.6, 2025 to be with the lord but Harmony is a true family!!!!
After touring multiple assisted living facilities with a client of mine, I thought things couldn’t get any better—until we visited Harmony at Douglasville. From the moment we walked in, Wendy and the entire team went above and beyond to make my client feel genuinely welcome. My client is hard of hearing, and I was incredibly impressed that Wendy and the staff took the time to speak directly to his “good” ear to ensure he could hear and feel included. Even the residents engaged him in friendly conversation, which immediately put him at ease. What truly stood out was how quickly different team members connected with my client—within just a short visit, the Maintenance Director, dining staff, and Activities Director all found common interests with him and sparked meaningful conversations. That level of personalized interaction is rare and speaks volumes about how much the team truly cares about the people who walk through their doors. Harmony at Douglasville sets the bar high for compassionate, resident-focused care. I highly recommend visiting if you want a place where your loved one will feel welcomed and understood from the very first moment.
Always understaffed and the dining room meals are always a challenge
Harmony at Douglasvile is an absolutely beautiful community. I had the opportunity to join the grand opening and was blown away with the event - from the music to the delicious food that was served. Shannon is very knowledgeable and a great resource for seniors and their families. I highly recommend visiting if you are looking for senior living for your loved one.
