Must be the employees leaving the reviews that are great because this place sucks. Had my mom for 3 months there will never do that again got her out of there as quick as I could. This place needs to be shut down. And the pictures the pictures are all of the part that is nice and fancy where people actually pay out of their own pocket to move into this part of the nursing home. The lower part my mother had to stay in where the state would pay for her was horrible absolutely horrible. She had yeast infection on top of yeast infection in this nursing home. She had only 3 ft of room to move in…

She had only 3 ft of room to move in her room literally 3 ft. She was not allowed to bring any of her furniture at all not even a dresser. And they have no chairs and they have no chairs in their rooms. They have like a kitchen table chair to sit and watch television in how pathetic is that. Oh and it's four people that share one bathroom. This place needs to be shut down and buried. Worst place in the world. I got my mother out of there as soon as I could.
My mother was committed back in April of this year. The staff is warm and caring and my mother is comfortable and well-taken care of. They ensure her safety and well-being at all times and I would highly recommend them for the care of your loved ones.
If you have a love one that needs help i STRONGLY advise you don’t go here. My uncle was basically STARVED to death here. His room was disgusting. Sat in a pop diaper bc they wouldn’t change him. Hot in the building. Luckily they switched up his appointments & we were able to get into a hospital days before he passed. If not who knows what would happened.
People were so helpful and kind!! My Dad just needed therapy and it was outstanding!!! It makes a difference when you have caring people to help you through tuff times!!
My Aunt has lived at this facility for over 5 years and has had the best care. Everyone there knows her personally and treats her like part of the team in helping other patients there.
Kitchen is a big responsibility and jobs being performed are very effective . Phillip is a phenomenal employee who has his best interest at heart.
Scoops Americus had the pleasure of visiting Lillian Carter Nursing Home recently to serve ice cream to the residents/staff, and it was truly a memorable and uplifting experience. From the moment we arrived, the warm atmosphere of the facility was immediately evident. The staff was incredibly kind, attentive, and made everyone feel at ease. Their dedication to the well-being of the residents is truly inspiring. The highlight of the visit was, of course, sharing ice cream with the residents/staff. There was such joy and laughter as everyone enjoyed their sweet treat. It was clear how much the little things, like this simple act of kindness, meant to the residents and staff. The smiles on their faces were priceless and reminded me of the importance of connection and community. The facility itself is well-maintained, with comfortable and welcoming spaces that cater to the needs of the residents. It’s evident that Lillian Carter Nursing Home goes above and beyond in creating a positive and supportive environment. Whether it’s the compassionate care, the engaging activities, or the personal attention each resident receives, they truly focus on making each day special. I’m so grateful for the opportunity to volunteer and contribute in a small way to making their day brighter. I highly recommend Lillian Carter Nursing Home to anyone looking for a place where compassion, care, and community shine through in everything they do.
I visited a friend there several times and always found the staff to be kind, helpful and pleasant. He was happy and well taken care of.
