4.7 · 43 reviewsIf I could give zero stars I would! The facility seems to be short staffed all the time. The staff do not seem to care about the residents. I have found my loved on in two briefs at one time. And when I bring my concerns to the nurse I am brushed off. Some of the staff is very friendly and cares about the residents and it shows, however there are a few staff that have horrible attitudes. They should not be working with the elderly.
My great grandmother lives here and we were able to celebrate her 100th birthday at joy today. The staff and owners went above and beyond to make her feel special and loved. They created the most amazing birthday party! I left crying happy tears because it reaffirmed how loved my nanny is there. The people there are full of care and love!

Transitioning a loved one from their longtime home into a memory care home is never easy. We feel very lucky to have found The Joy Senior Living. The owners are very involved and accessible which gives it a much more family feeling. Mellissa, the Executive Director is wonderful. She nurtures a culture rooted in genuine care and you can see that on a daily basis. The caregivers are attentive and compassionate. If you are looking for an assisted living or memory care home that can give you a peace of mind knowing your loved one will be well taken care of, The Joy is your place.
We have been very pleased! They have been available and eager to answer any and all of our questions, and they really have taken great care of our mom! They are easy to get a hold of and are very responsive. (I'm out of state.) We also like that it's a smaller facility. It's not this massive place where my mom might be overlooked.
Amazing facility and staff! I love how the staff engages with the residents. The owners are so friendly and just as engaging! They even offered to help my sons move my uncle's furniture into the facility. I can rest easy knowing my uncle is in great hands with the quality care The Joy Senior Living Center provides!!
My experience with The Joy Senior Living Center has been great from the very beginning! I love how the staff is extremely engaging with the residents. My uncle is pleased with the facility and the staff. The food is absolutely amazing...great cooks! [name removed], one of the owners, accommodated me by meeting me at the facility on the weekend to complete our business so my uncle could move in on time. The owners even offered to assist my sons with moving my uncle's furniture into his room! [name removed], the director, is the absolute best. Every time I call her, she is there to assist. The residents love her and I see why!! I am extremely protective of my uncle so I visited several facilities, and The Joy Senior Living met all of my requirements and my uncle's needs. I would recommend this place to anyone with a senior loved one who needs quality care!!!! Thank you all for taking great care of my uncle! I can rest easy knowing he's in good hands!!
