It was on that last visit that my father and I decided it was time to stop aggressive treatment of her dementia and to let her go. We wanted her last days with us and her family to comfortable, peaceful and with dignity and grace. Homestead made sure that all of that was achieved. My mother passed on Tuesday July 14 and she was cared for up until the very end. The staff made us feel just as comforted as they did my mother during her transitioning and after her passing. My family used this place when my mom was returned to the nursing home from her last hospital visit. For that I am grateful. Thank you Homestead for all that you did. You were truly a blessing in time of emotional difficulty for my family. These wonderful caregivers recently aided my father in his transition. Their superior attention to his physical needs allowed him to peacefully and with dignity follow his wishes to remain in his home and with his loved ones. Each and every one of them extended that same concern to my mother. I am so impressed with Homestead Hospice and thank them from the bottom of my heart!
