My Grandma been sick for two weeks During the month of May, because the care givers at this facility let my Grandma Fall. she also had a bad UTI Infection from all the soda and Tea they gave her and no water. She also had sepis. There were a lot of others problems my Grandma had going on as well. She was put in the hospital. No one from this Facility notified me nor my Dad and let us know my Granny was sick or in the Hospital. My family and I had to find out my Grandma was in the hospital ourselves.. No one from this Facility notified me nor my Dad and let us know my Granny was sick or in the Hospital. My family and I had to find out my Grandma was in the hospital ourselves.. Some lady name Denise call and just told me a month later after I already knew, So all this time my Grandma been in the hospital all alone, Sick, and Suffering. 😢 I express my concerns and ask her why didn't anyone call us because they had my number prior before my Grandma became ill. She told me she don't have to call and tell us anything by law because we wasn't her Guardian. The lady Denise told me the only reason she call me to today because my Grandma Guardian ask her too. That's Wrong, Unacceptable, and Unprofessional...and also Not Fair We are still family and should know what's going on with her. I feel like they are the blame because Employees wasn't watching, nor taking care of her the correct way they supposed too because she fell and hit her head and things start going down hill for my Grandma. THE HOSPITAL SENT HER TO PALMYRA HOME AND MY GRANDMA RECENTLY PASSED ON MOTHER'S DAY. My Family is Heartbroken!!! Also devestated. 😢
I went to Evergreen Assisted Living. When you come in, it's like coming into the living room of a house. It had furnishings that you would probably have in your own home that would be accommodating for patients as well as people coming to visit loved ones. It seemed very comfortable and welcoming. I interacted with two of the staff and they were very friendly. They had outside activities. They had tours. They could go to the library. It was very interesting because it seemed like they were letting people get a more normal activity than they would have if they were just in a nursing facility.
Mother in Law not taken care of as promised. Problem with this place is the person who's running in. She has no time for anyone except herself. Makes up all sorts of excuses to avoid having a one on one meeting, about some major issues.
I would tell them that is a good place to take their mother. I think the friendliness and caring of the staff makes it the place to go. My mom says the food isn't very good, but at 89 and she has cooked her whole life. I was able to eat their once, and the food was delicious.
Great Place! My aunt has been there a short period of time and she really enjoys it. They had a Valentine Lunch today for residents and family and it was very good. I have only had problems with one employee and I really don't care for her but I don't see her there that often so I try to avoid her. Over all everyone is very nice, friendly and caring. The food is good and the facility is very clean and neat. I would definitely recommend this place!
We toured this community for my mom to find a community that she would feel comfortable with. My mom needed a two bedroom community. The staff was nice, but this was not an environment what mom wanted. We would suggest that other families take a tour for the care of a loved one.
They offer a wide variety of activities including having an auction and having an author come in for a book signing. The activities director is outstanding. The staff are engaging sweet people that take good care of mom. The nurses are real good. The food is excellent and they have a really amazing variety of choices. The community is clean and well taken care of. They have rocking chairs on the front porch to enjoy the outdoors. She is in a small assisted living area and I would recommend this community.
My mother-in-law's move into Evergreen Assisted living is going well and she's made some improvements. She has regained her appetite and gained weight with the help of their meals and I have heard no complaints in that category. She is doing physical therapy and very focused on their memory and social activities. They are very hands on and she requires a lot of prompting due to her memory issues. They are very patient with her and work closely with her everyday. This has made her acclimation much smoother, especially moving into a new state and community.
