The staff is very professional and know their jobs. They helped my wife way more than they will ever know. Have nothing but the upmost respect for this place and the staff. I would definitely highly recommend anyone to choose this place for short term therapy and rehab. I would have given them 10 ☆'S if I could.
I highly recommend this nursing home for anyone looking for excellent care for their loved ones. The facility is consistently clean, and the staff is both highly professional and deeply engaged with the residents. They also provide a wonderful variety of daily activities to keep everyone active. It is a fantastic, trustworthy place for family members
Hello, my name is Angela, and I’m a nursing student. I visited this center two times and I must say, everyone there is friendly and pleasant. The staff is awesome. The technician Martino is very knowledgeable and helpful. He assisted the residents and helped other nurses when they needed his help. He also repaired a resident’s bed in real-time when it malfunctioned. I also worked with Lynae and she showed me various tasks and duties that nurses do. This facility has on-site dialysis for their residents which makes it convenient for them. Anyone considering this facility and in need of…

I have been to many nursing homes but this has been one of the best places in Ga. The nurses/ techs were great. The DON is friendly and engages well with the residents. They have speech therapy on site, PT on site and a dialysis center. The staff members treat the residents like family. Using this medium to applaud Martino a Tech for taking great care of the residents. I saw the Residents engaged in talent shows, karaoke, nail painting and more. Great facility.
You have some of the nicest staff. We have the one CNA Anslena Blake. She is one very sweet and helpful CNA’s at Cartersvillecenters. But she stood out. She go’s the extra mile for all she helps take care of. And they need more like Anslena, Corney, Pam, Anna ,and so many more
I would not recommend Cartersville Nursing & Healing based on our family’s experience. My mother began having labored breathing. We later learned from her roommate that an X-ray had reportedly been done the night before and showed pneumonia. Our family was never notified that she had pneumonia, nor were we contacted about any change in her condition. When we questioned staff, they admitted they were understaffed and said the nurse that was on that hall didn’t normally work that hall, when asked why we had not been informed and stated they were treating her “in-house.” Only after we raised concerns did they check her oxygen level, which was in the 70s. She was then transferred to the hospital. Once there, we learned how critical her condition had become. Her arterial blood gas values were severely abnormal, and she had to be placed on BiPAP for respiratory support. At this point, we have been told that she is not expected to survive this. No family should have to find out from a roommate that their loved one has pneumonia, nor should they have to fight to have obvious respiratory distress taken seriously. Our mother did not make it thru this she passed away June 12, 2026 We entrusted this facility with our mother’s care and believe communication with our family and the response to her declining condition were profoundly inadequate. I share this so that other families will ask questions, advocate strongly for their loved ones, and remain actively involved in their care. This is has been updated since her passing and information has been added.
If I could give 0 stars I would .. This place is literally a JOKE ! It is definitely not sanitary, everytime I would go see my loved one it smelt awful inside and out. They don’t take care of there patients. I’m pretty sure they will just hire anyone here smh. Please get your loved ones out of this place 🥺
The staff is amazing and very compassionate.
