Great place to live! Residents are always taken care of, residents have a wonderful time with activities, we are loved and it's just like home!
Leaving this review so other families don’t have to go through what we did. We trusted this assisted living facility to care for our grandmother, and that trust was misplaced. She experienced ongoing neglect, and despite multiple attempts to raise concerns, nothing meaningfully changed. Watching someone you love be ignored or inadequately cared for is devastating. Assisted living should provide comfort, safety, and respect. Instead, we were met with poor communication, lack of accountability, and a clear absence of compassion. No family should have to constantly worry whether their loved one’s basic needs are being met. I sincerely regret choosing this facility and would never recommend it to anyone seeking proper care for an elderly family member.

I would not recommend this assisted living facility to anyone who truly cares about their loved one. My grandmother was a resident here, and during her time we experienced repeated neglect that caused our family a great deal of stress and heartbreak. Basic care needs were not consistently met, and concerns we raised were either ignored or brushed off. Communication from staff was poor, and we often had to follow up multiple times to get any response. What was most upsetting was seeing my grandmother’s condition decline in ways that could have been prevented with proper attention and care. Assisted living residents are vulnerable and depend on staff to advocate for them — that did not happen here. Families trust facilities like this to provide safety, dignity, and compassion. Unfortunately, this facility failed to meet those expectations. I strongly urge anyone considering this place to look elsewhere and ask very hard questions before trusting them with a loved one’s care.
My grandmother fell out of bed at Camellia Walk of Evans and suffered a serious head injury requiring ICU care. She remained on the floor bleeding for about two hours before being found. Video footage shows she went over eight hours without staff checking on her, despite a stated two-hour rounding policy, and the facility later cited understaffing. Families should ask detailed questions about staffing and overnight supervision.
Ashlee was very thorough and the facility very accommodating with a lot of extra curricular activities.
