4.5 · 26 reviewsWhat we like the most about the community is that it is quiet and has a homey atmosphere. We would definitely recommend Burnt Hickory Residences to other families based on the experience we have had so far.
The price was reasonable. It felt more like a private home with lots of bedrooms. Each resident can bring their own furniture, mini fridge and microwave. [names removed]became like granddaughters to my mom. They were with her when she passed away, which was very comforting to our family.
I have had my mother at Burnt Hickory Residences for a year now and cannot say enough of how happy my wife and I are at the experience that we have had. The staff is exceptional and the residents are not treated like a number but like they are family members of the staff themselves. Brittany who is the managing coordinator is very involved with the residents and many times I have walked into the lunch room and seen her sitting down right in-between the residents while eating and engaging with them. I have had my mother at Burnt Hickory Residences for a year now and cannot say enough of how happy my wife and I are at the experience that we have had. The staff is exceptional and the residents are not treated like a number but like they are family members of the staff themselves. Brittany who is the managing coordinator is very involved with the residents and many times I have walked into the lunch room and seen her sitting down right in-between the residents while eating and engaging with them. Her staff that includes Lexie, Kristen, Christie and Elizabeth actually love their jobs and treat residents with the utmost care. I pass 3 or 4 other care homes on the way to get to Burnt Hickory but know we have made the right choice by the cleanliness of the facility and their 100% rating by Bartow County. If anyone is looking for care of a loved one this facility cannot be matched in my opinion and recommend Burnt Hickory Residences very highly.

I toured Burnt Hickory Residences. It's an older place and could use some painting. It's not the cleanest place I ever walked into, but it wasn't filthy. The staff was fine. She took me upstairs, showed me their two-size rooms available, and gave me a lot of information. She's very helpful. They had what they considered a dining room, but it only had two tables. The physical fitness room only had a weight bench and one or two other things. It had a little hairdressing room, which was small as well - - enough for two people to get in and out, just not the best.
This is a smaller facility where everyone becomes like family. It has a homey feel with simple decor. We love that the rooms have extra high ceilings and traditional pane windows with wooden blinds. They have some nice rocking chairs and outdoor seating and walkways. Beautiful flowers in the summertime. Responsive staff and PT on site.
Everyone is so nice, they even helped us when we accidentally mailed stuff to Dr. Instead of Rd. [name removed] was awesome and made us feel welcome and like it is a good safe place for [name removed]. She even gave us her cell phone number so we could check up on [name removed]. It's been great being able to get answers timely.
Very caring, always communicated with me and focused on making my dad comfortable I absolutely recommend Burnt Hickory Residences to others looking.
