Visited my brother over the weekend and he appeared to be receiving good care. All the staff was friendly and helpful, especially Jennai (sorry if misspelled) and Bernice. Thanks everyone for all you do!
This place has the poorest management I’ve ever seen. Their washer and dryer were broken and they blamed the aides working agency instead of being accountable. There is no way for staff to provide care without the supplies to do it. Having ignorant management that knows they don’t provide supplies and still blames staff when needs aren’t met reflects in their score. The building is also infested with roaches.
I called the facility to inquire about getting my mother placed and was greeted on the phone by Garnette, lovely person. Erica the admissions coordinator was so helpful and informative on the steps and process I need to take. She truly has a lovely spirit about herself. She offered me a tour of the facility but from first impression I am defienlty sold. I plan to update my review after I tour the facility next week.
Please go see the facility and meet the staff for yourself. My grandfather is the facility and my mom spoke highly of the staff, Ericka from admission so awesome to work with as far as getting your loved ones placed. Merci and the nursing staff are amazing. My grandfather has been there a couple of months and I'm so glad we didn't let these bad reviews turn us away. Building is always clean and doesn't have that nursing home smell. Ladies at front desk are awesome as well.
I recently toured this facility and was impressed. Administrative staff was helpful and very knowledgeable. Love the wide corridor. The residents were happy and enjoying there meal.
I am speaking from experience. Very poor communication. Food is bad. Make sure u ask for double portions. some treat u like a prisoner. A lot of Staff dont stay in there lane, they jealous and make assumptions. have no people skills. in the kitchen, they rude and mean they dnt listen to the supervisor shots out to Candice, Wanda. NURSES and CNA'S are nice overall. I like unit 5,6 and the social workers are ok nice. They dnt let activity staff do there job. Sometimes I have to take up for the CNA'S
If I could give negative 5 stars I would..some staff are really nice and helpful but administrators are under qualified rude lazy individuals. Orientation there was hell on wheels sitting in a conference room for 4 to 5 hrs doing absolutely nothing remotely close to training instead you're left to congregate with the other reluctant new employees...ppe and following OSHA guidelines is unheard of here seeing there are no precautions for people who may be ill with something contagious. Even though have gloves I do not see the use of them and other ppe being enforced. I have saw multiple housekeepers squeeze an actual toilet brush out with their bare ungloved hands and even more ridiculous things. God forbid you've just started and it hasn't been 90 days you'll be terminated before you can confirm if you're well again to return or not if you get sick. This place needs to be bulldozed especially management 1st.
Majority of staff treat residents with kindness and respect. Some on upper level treat residents like prisoners. Cleaning crew are ALL nice people and do good work.CNAs are overworked but do good work and treat everyone with civility. Food service does mostly good work but there is a lack of communication between staff. There is a substantial turnover ratio that needs to be addressed.
