I am here at Willow Creek Personal Care Home. My stay here has been nice. We don't get out in the community and do anything. We don't have any activities to do in here, but the food is good, we're fed on time, and we're given our medicine on time and all that kind of good stuff. As a whole, it's OK. The staff is easy to get along with. They have a few that are not so easy to get along with, but as a whole, they're OK. The facility needs some work done. It needs to be painted, and the floors need to be redone. When they did remodel it many years ago, they halfway did the job. They didn't…

It needs to be painted, and the floors need to be redone. When they did remodel it many years ago, they halfway did the job. They didn't finish the baseboard in the rooms and stuff like that. I pay with my Social Security checks. They give us so much to have to spend each month. I have to provide my shampoo and stuff like that.
My mother is a new resident there. I'm still new to how this facility works so I will be doing major observations with the staff and monitor my mom's progress. Hopefully I can give a good review and have positive feedback. Don't let me down Willowcreek or we will have a big problem.
They stole my wife
I toured Willow Creek Personal Care Home. It was very nice and very clean. I liked the staff. They were very nice. I saw the dining area and it was very nice. The bathroom was big enough for anybody with a handicap. They have games and they take them out. They keep them very busy with a lot of activities. They had a courtyard for the residents to go to.
I was disappointed that no one was available to discuss financial responsibilities or to get any information that I could send to my parents. Although the facility is older, it was clean and neat. Client rooms were small.
Willow Creek Personal Care Home were unprepared for me to come. They were surprised that I was there, but they took me in anyway and showed me around. It was a good and clean place. The people were nice, cordial, informative, and helpful. They knew I was in a situation where I didn’t know what I was looking for, so they were really helpful in helping me get started. They served three meals a day and had a van that could take the patients to doctors' appointments. It seemed like they were going to the malls and seeing movies. They were going out into the community a couple of times a week.
My mother is doing very well here at this community. I'am pleased with her move here, and she likes it. The community looks great, they are doing some updating around the place. She is engaging in the community and the residents. Everybody is great and very friendly. This fabulous community, I have no complaints. Amy the director is great and very helpful. This is a lovely community.
Willow Creek Personal Care Home is closer to town, and it's right on the highway. Parking is not that great, and they are going through a remodeling. One of the things that bothered me the most is I thought they knew I was coming, and when I showed up, they looked surprised that I was there. They will take Medicaid patients. On Saturday, they just had 2 people in the whole facility, and I'm sitting there wondering how they can take care of my mother when they only have 2 who are also doing the cooking and cleaning in addition to watching after everybody.
