This review is an unbiased, factual review of the facility with pictures and video documentation to support: Residents are left with food in their feeding tubes to grow deadly bacteria, and bed sores develop quickly as the facility doesn't prop or relieve pressure points with wedges for the bed ridden patients. Patients are left to feed themselves using syringes with the feeding tubes....Patients who have no business doing such a thing, further endangering them, especially when they're bed ridden as they cannot wash their hands to ensure cleanliness while putting the liquid food into the tube, coming directly out of their stomach, and cannot flush the tube afterwards to prevent bacteria build up. Try calling them, they don't answer the phones often, especially on the weekends, and if you do finally get an answer and tell them your loved one is texting, as they're deaf and mute plus bedridden so no other way to communicate, saying that they can't breathe, they put you on hold and do not come back to the phone, nor do they go check the patient with this information being given to them. So you now have to call outside sources like 911 to go and check on your family members safety, unless of course you can be here yourself checking on them daily. If you put your loved one here, be prepared to fight for their rights daily, weekly, and be prepared to involve the proper agencies to ensure your loved one is being cared for. Do not let them bully you, as they will in fact try to do so, and attempt to make you think you have no rights to protect your loved ones. Otherwise, they're on their own at this location. Do a pop up visit, especially on the weekends to ensure safety. I never realized little town nursing home, meant such little care. Something needs to be done to help these people living here, and support the families trying to keep them safe.
