I HIGHLY RECOMMEND PRUITTHEALTH AND KUDOS THE LEVEL OF CARE YOU ALL PROVIDE. On April 10 2026 I had my dad transfer from Archway transitional care in Macon GA to PruittHealth Fort Oglethorp GA. Unfortunately, he could not talk, walk, eat or go bathroom on own he had to wear adult diaper, and basically he was catatonic. He had bed wounds on his feet we didn't know about from other place. He has thrash on his tongue since they never cleaned his mouth. Last time I saw my dad February 24, 2026 he was walking talking eating for himself etc. I told him I was looking for closer place and social…
I told him I was looking for closer place and social worker helping to find one. In a month's time my dad's health status dropped. It seems they gave up on him left him in bed. When we arrived at PruittHealth on April 10 2026 very decent, cleaner, with newer floors and better furniture. They got him into his room with 2 others there. From the time in April 10th at PruittHealth his health status has improved. He is able to lift his knee in the bed, wound nurse Jessic has cleared up the wound on his hip that he got there because he is bed bound. She is still working on the others to get healed. They move him in different positions to try to prevent that but he favors the right side. He's on puree foods and been doing well. My sister-in-law Logan helped him drink water, eat pudding, drink Ensure and having my dad pick up spoon to put in mouth. The family is so happy we were able to transfer him to PRUITTHEALTH. Everyone is so nice, friendly and definitely cares about the residents and their job. They keep us well informed about his health status every week. THANK YOU PRUITTHEALTH!
They NEVER answer the phone!!!
As soon as you walk in, you’re greeted by the receptionist and automatically I knew that this place was going to be just as welcoming and sweet as the receptionist :)
Pruitt has been a very pleasant experience! Everyone has been so helpful during my onboarding and adjustment to the long term care.
They have some very caring people there, but I believe some not so much. My husband who has Alzheimer's fell and broke his hip there and I understand he could have done that anywhere else, but when I called to check on him they didn't tell me he was in excruciating pain. Said he was sleeping peacefully. Then I called before going there and they said he was going up and down the hall in a wheelchair. That was not true. When I got there he was lying in bed in so much pain wearing the same shirt I sent him there in 3 days earlier. He was so thirsty I'm not sure hef had anything to drink in a while , not sure if he had eaten anything.. When he left our home, he was eating by himself, walking and could comprehend some things. When we got there, he couldn't do any of those things probably because of the fall. Very disappointed in my choice to send him there.
Friendly and caring staff.
They take really good care of my mother that has Alzheimer’s. I’m at peace knowing that she is safe
Very, very, very unprofessional! The way they talk to you over the phone is insane. The wait is ridiculous. Pruite is a complete JOKE!
