I love the energy when I come to through the door, specially the employee Renée, she’s so sweet With a very big smile, always nice and you know you can hear her around the corner, which I love because she’s always having the energy to pick me up and lets me know everything will be ok That’s why I love visiting my loved ones when she’s there.
My mother was only there for a very short time as she transitioned after that. The care she received there was great and the place was kept neat.
My family’s experience at PruittHealth Fairburn was deeply concerning in several key areas, particularly compassion, communication, and attention to basic patient care standards. My mother was readmitted after two ICU stays within a month following serious medical conditions, including heart surgery, chronic kidney disease, colitis, migraines, and cardiogenic shock. She had only been at the facility for three days after having chest tubes, a ventilator, and a feeding tube removed. Any reasonable healthcare provider would expect her to be in significant pain. Despite this, Nurse Katrina displayed a clear lack of compassion and professionalism. She appeared irritated by my family asking necessary questions about my mother’s care and went as far as to falsely state that my mother only complained of pain when family was present. This type of dismissive and inaccurate statement is unacceptable, especially when dealing with a medically fragile patient. There were also serious inconsistencies from the rehab manager, Joann. She initially claimed my mother had been there a week and was walking, which was completely incorrect. After being corrected, she then stated that my mother had refused physical therapy after only two days—something my mother confirmed never happened. This raises significant concerns about documentation accuracy and whether patient care is being properly monitored or simply misrepresented. Both interactions were not only unprofessional but demonstrated a troubling lack of accountability and awareness of my mother’s actual condition. When staff members cannot accurately speak to a patient’s status, it undermines trust in the entire facility. Most alarming, my mother was discharged back to PruittHealth on a prescribed minced/soft diet with thickened liquids, yet she was given a sandwich. This is not a minor oversight—it is a direct failure to follow medical orders and could have caused serious harm. While I am giving 3 stars because not every staff member was problematic (nurse Kenyatta and Quana were great) the issues we encountered are significant and reflect systemic gaps in patient care, communication, and oversight. Families should not have to advocate this hard to ensure basic standards are met.
The staff friendly and professional. I like that the communicate with me about my love ones.
Thank you, to all workers there. Thank you so much and you guys all deserve more money!!!!!!!! The only way there is an off comment on here is, if there is a Karen who thinks Medicare is going to care enough to put your loved one in a mansion. Very clean very attentive. I love them all Nans at home with us chilling cause of these women.
I highly recommend anyone to go to Pruitt Health Care in Fairburn Ga on Butner Road. It is a fantastic facility. My mom, Elizabeth Bowles was there from 2014 until 2018. They took great care of her. They have a great staff team. Keisha, Crystal, Rachel and many more. If Something would happen to me this is the place I would go. A great place to go. Jackie Thomas
Came from Houston to visit my dad and Kisha took such good care of us! Thanks for being so kind to Mr. Thomas until we can get him back home.
I am leaving this review as a concerned family member. My aunt is currently a resident at PruittHealth, and unfortunately our experience has been disappointing. There seems to be constant staff turnover, which makes it difficult to ensure consistent care and communication. Just as residents get familiar with caregivers, they are gone. In addition, the facility frequently appears to run out of basic supplies, which is concerning for a healthcare environment. These issues create unnecessary stress for residents and their families and raise questions about overall management and preparedness. I truly hope leadership takes these concerns seriously and works toward improving staff retention, communication, and resource availability so residents can receive the level of care they deserve.
