I came here to deliver an DoorDash order at 5:55 “ish”, so I followed the instructions from the customer who wanted the order to be delivered at the front desk, so the front door was locked, and the employee (black woman, grey outfit, and braids) who is standing at the desk. She has a rude attitude and was being snobby at me and I was just trying to drop off the order at the front desk for an customer. People like her, should not have a job if they want to disrespect someone.

This is one of the worst nursing homes I have ever visited, and I had initially decided to place my mother here. While some of the staff are exceptional, I encountered significant issues when dealing with the director, Renee. She exhibited unprofessional behavior when I inquired about insurance coverage for my mother, which I had already been paying. Renee informed me that they do not provide this service, and I should contact the Social Security office instead. However, upon calling the Social Security office, I was told that the nursing home can indeed facilitate this process. Despite this,…

Despite this, Renee continued to insist that they could not assist with insurance coverage, implying that it was my responsibility to manage this aspect. Furthermore, she suggested that I could remove my mother from the facility if I was dissatisfied, which I intend to do. I would not recommend this nursing home to anyone, as Renee fails to return phone calls and did not provide me with the contact information for the facility's owner or director. This lack of professionalism and transparency is unacceptable, and I would advise others to explore alternative options for their loved ones.

Terrible Facility. The people in charge are nasty, rude and careless. Visited my mother on yesterday day around 1pm and I walked on staff discussing the Aide that is having sex with the patient. My mother’s light had been on over 15 minutes , but that was the conversation of entertainment. I’m begging my sister to remove my mother from that place. We have received several calls from nurses for two months , telling me how I need to ask questions about my mother and how she don’t get changed during the hours of the people who are in charged. DON and social worker hides information about my…

DON and social worker hides information about my mother’s health and her care. I have been in Thomaston for 13 years and this is the worse group of managers I have experienced.

Back in January my sister and I talked to Lexie about placing my Mom with Providence, because she needed around the clock care. We told Lexie about the bad reviews and she responded by saying it had a new owner who bought the nursing home 2 years ago and she was hired about a year and a half ago. The owner and herself have been working to improve Providence as it used to be. So my sisters and I placed my Mom in this facility. I can honestly say they took very good care of my Mom. I have no complaints what so ever. The nurses, Tamika and Regina, went out of their way to care for my Mom. The food they brought to Mom, three times a day, was very good. My sisters and I were very appreciative of what all they did for my Mom. This facility is much improved from what it used to be. But as with any nursing facility, you need to be attentive to your relative to make sure they receive the care that is needed. Unfortunately, my sisters and I saw a person placed in a nursing home and their relatives never even come back to check on them.

My friend is in Providence Healthcare of Thomaston. She's had problems since she got there about being cold and not having enough cover. The place is old. The floors are old and spotty. The rooms are too small for two beds. The nurses at the desk are very friendly, but the rest of the people do not show much friendliness when you ask them a question. I'm hoping that'll change when they get used to me as a visitor for my friend down there. It's a little rundown. The dining area is OK. I haven't been there when a meal is served, but my friend is not complimentary at all of their food. They have prayer meetings and they have a smoking area for them to go and smoke if they want. I don't think it's worth whatever she's paying. There's a teeny, tiny little closet. They have to share this chest of drawers with their roommate. She's not happy and I'm not thrilled with this place. It's not exactly what we were thinking it would be.

The worst service ever, residents lay in soil for 24 hours, staff don't bathe bed ridden residents, they don't give snacks or water, soo many ppl dehydrated, if a person is sick, they don't send them out they just lay here and die

I have been here for awhile this place is for people who can't take care of them selves but I'm 42 I'm in my right mind I know that I can't walk but it's like they don't won't to listen but lie

Don't put your love ones in this place. Providence healthcare center in Thomaston Georgia. I have a boyfriend that in her and he is trying to get better but this nursing home is not helping him. They don't give him a bath. They don't charge his bags after he got to the bathroom. The food is not good there. we asked for him to be transferred to somewhere else closer to me but they don't care about it. They won't give him is medical records and I know that is not lawful. We are looking into a lawyer now.
