My mother is scheduled to move in soon and she’s so excited. The house is stunning, the residents are active and the staff is wonderful. We toured last week and everything was so welcoming and accommodating. I highly recommend touring and seeing how great the Oconee House truly is.
Oconee House and their staff provide excellent care to the residents. They are friendly and have a beautiful facility. Their service is superior.
We are beyond grateful for the care and attention my grandmother has received at Oconee House Senior Living. From the very first day we toured the facility, we were impressed with the warmth and professionalism of the staff. The environment at Oconee House is welcoming and comforting, with cozy common areas and beautifully maintained spaces. My grandmother has thrived here — she enjoys the variety of activities, from social gatherings to exercise programs, and has made wonderful friendships with other residents. It's so reassuring to see her staying active, engaged, and happy. What really stands out is the level of personalized care. The staff truly listens to her needs and preferences, and they go above and beyond to make sure she feels safe, respected, and cared for every day. The nursing staff is always available, and they keep us updated on her health and well-being, which gives us peace of mind. The meals are also top-notch, with a focus on healthy, delicious options that she looks forward to each day. It's clear that Oconee House puts a lot of thought into creating a balanced and enjoyable experience for their residents. Most importantly, my grandmother has a sense of independence here, but also the support she needs when she requires it. It’s the perfect balance, and we couldn’t be happier with the decision to choose Oconee House. If you're looking for a loving, compassionate, and supportive environment for your loved one, I highly recommend Oconee House Senior Living. They’ve made my grandmother’s quality of life so much better, and for that, we are forever grateful.
Please don’t take your love ones here. I regret that I did. Thank god she is doing better. If you just want to give your money way and not have proper care this the place for you.
We toured The Oconee House Senior Living. All the people there were very nice. They were extremely nice on the phone and in person. All we did was go look at the rooms. We walked through the common areas, the dining room, and the kitchen, and everything seemed fine to me. It's an older place and kind of dated, but it was nice, clean, and well-kept. The staff was friendly and nice, and they were going out of their way to get my sister to have a room downstairs instead of upstairs. We met the cook, and he was a man who was also friendly and nice. The room was extremely large. It was a nice big room, and you could even bring your bedroom furniture if you wanted to.
Oconee House Senior Living was very quiet, the interior looked like that of a group home. Their staff was very nice, I saw the dining area and it looked nice. The staff is doing a good job and the place itself was great.
The rooms in Oconee House are a bit small, and residents have to share bathrooms, so we didn't like that. They have a door that leads to a back porch or deck, but they told us they didn't want anyone going out to it because it's not safe. It's not blocked, so that made me feel a little uncomfortable. The people were very friendly and very nice. The dining area looked very nice and they have an open area, plus the one deck they can sit out on also looks nice. The person who gave me the tour was very nice and knowledgeable.
Oconee House has wonderful staff! Their food is amazing. They are very friendly and accomindating to all their residents. They have many activities for their residents.
