Such a friendly and caring staff! They do a great job of taking care of my mother. Shanika always makes herself available and willing to assist in anyway possible.
Working with Parkside Senior Living of Snellville has been a truly positive experience. Their team is always warm, welcoming, and professional, and it is clear they genuinely care about their residents and community. Communication is thoughtful and consistent, which makes working together easy and enjoyable. When I found myself facing one of life’s most unpredictable circumstances, that of finding the best living situation for a family member with memory issues, Oaks at Snellville was highly recommended. I immediately did a Google search and was pleased with their philosophy of honoring the person’s life story, and weaving it into their care. I called the Director of Community Relations, Courtenay, and arranged a meeting. She was very welcoming, patient, and informative. I was particularly moved by their person-directed approach to care, which she thoroughly explained to me. The Executive Director, Shanika, was extremely helpful to me in navigating this difficult journey. I’m very pleased with the level of care being given. The transition has been very smooth. I feel a great deal of comfort seeing my family member happy and making new friends, as well as enjoying the many activities provided.
My 96- year old mom has lived at The Oaks at Snellville for about 2 years. We have found that the staff is caring and makes sure my mom is taken care of on a daily basis. They greet me with a smile and readily provide feedback on my mom’s daily activities, progress and/or challenges. The director is extremely personable and has a genuine interest in my mom’s well-being. I am grateful that we connected with The Oaks!
My family member stayed there and it was awful. If you care about your family member I would advises to look elsewhere.
I toured The Oaks recently and I was impressed with the facility as well as the care the residents receive. It is definitely a place I will consider for my loved one when the time comes. The price is reasonable and the location is convenient to our home which would make visiting easy.
