The building and everything inside was old. The employees steal. I was visiting my dad, sitting outside and an employee walked right by with some of his belongings. I knew they were his because I saw his name in my handwriting on the items. The director gives misleading info and does not care about the residents. When I moved my dad from here I was given a basket full of clothing that not only didn’t belong to my dad but the clothes were not even his size. All of his clothes and belongings were either damaged or dirty. I have to throw everything away and replace it. If you want MEMORY CARE for your loved ones seek elsewhere. There are no activities. The residents walk around all day or are left in their rooms for hours. They have a key pad lock but know nothing about caring for individuals with dementia and Alzheimer’s. My dad declined ALOT here. He went in-in underwear and months later came out in depends.

The people that run the Mountain View PCH are really kind and good. It doesn't look like the best kind of place, but the people that work there and the help are topnotch. My uncle does not have a lot of money. He is right at the point where he can't do self-pay, but he made too much money to get in the assisted. We searched high and low for place that we felt would be safe for him and that the people were loving and that he wasn't just there for the money. We felt very comfortable with him there, with the amount of money that he can afford. It is the perfect fit for him. He can't move very much or move on his own. They are good at helping him to get around to help him to be interactive. I don't know anything about the food. We can't go in, but when we took him there and they put him in quarantine, he was near enough that we could see him in the window. When they moved him to his room we could also see from the outside into his window.
