I wouldn’t give this place 1 star if I could. Between HR, and the head of the facility, Cindy and Marissa, plus the staff, this place is a complete disaster. They bully & harass staff, both are condescending and completely fail at doing their jobs. They have a “click” and if you don’t fit-they will push you out, or lie and write you up. The facility is in terrible shape. They have roaches, bed bugs, even mold. If you have a family member here, they will definitely pass on quicker with the lack of care they receive. Even when “state” has stepped in, it’s still not enough to fix this place. It…

The facility is very old and run down. It needs to be cleaned and updated. The rooms are very small. They have two or three people sharing a room. There is no room for personal belongings in the rooms. The common area where the TV is needs to have more furniture or seats for people to sit on. The Common area does not have any thing in there for them to do. It was very sad. I was told they have an out side area for them to go to. It was just a grassy area with a few chairs. They have vending machines for them to use, but they were empty. I asked my family member if they were able to get a…

My family member is capable of taking a shower but was not aloud to. There are no showers in the room. There was know one there at the door to help when we arrived for the first time. We had to just walk around until we found someone to help. I hate that we did not have any other facilities available. I would not have sent my family member here! We are definitely looking to move to another facility. I would not recommend this place. It is very old, cluttered, nothing works, and not enough works there to help when you need them.
I’ve never Seen such an abhorrent and disgusting neglected facility. My brother has no other options than to stay there. He’s Got leukemia and Epilepsy and diabetes, which requires nursing care. Yet they have let him be unbathed, unshaven and unfed. We are at wits end trying to figure out what to do about it. Should they be reported and who do you report it to? And each time we try to call him the weight is about 10 or 15 minutes and sometimes you don’t never get through.
We are going to keep my friend in the rehab to get her stronger. She is at Mountain View Health Care Center. I love the caring people who work there. However, I wish that the building was in better condition. My friend is with two other women in the room, and I would want her to have a little bit more privacy. They have a common area and people can go there to eat their meals. They don't have to be restricted to having them in their rooms, so that's a very good thing. The cleanliness is good, but the actual facility is quite old.
My brother was there for 2 months a few years ago, they said he was fully covered financially, they lied made my mom pay 2,800 we were poor folks it drained us, my brother came back home what happened? I said your guess is as good as mine. No more!
Our Mother has been a patient at Mountian View Nursing Home since the first of Feburary 2023. My family has found it to have excellent, caring people. We have had our Mother in two other facilities which were totally unacceptable. Mountian View has been such a blessing to us for the excellent care and compassion they have show our 98 year old Mother. Thank you so much. Dorothy Tyson's Family.
My grandmother was a resident in 2022. The staff took wonderful care of her and went above and beyond to keep our family involved and updated.
Staff is awesome, couldn't ask for better care! There are always activities for the residents to enjoy when they feel up to it. Since COVID, they are limited for their own protection. The building is old, but kept very clean.
