Life Care Center

I have been here 6 almost 7 years! They(Staff) stay on the personal phones more than they work! The staff ignores you and some staff are great. They dont allow you to have microwaves,coffee pots but hardly give you hot water for soups etc. I make $1485 a month they charge $1145 I think and give me $70 a month,where does the other $200 some odd dollars go noone seems to know? I was bed ridden for 22 days and 1 time I didn't get changed for 6 hrs. Another time I had runs and they.changed me and before they got out the door I filled the diaper up and they told me I had to sit in it for 2 hrs When they finally changed me it was dry they didn't get it all off me they changed me again as soon as shift change it was still on me. I got a bedsores about 6 or 7 months ago they quit treating it 2 or 3 months ago. It's very sore and tough to sit on. A lot of Certified Nursing Assistants,(CNA) stays on their personal phones more than they help people. The head nurse on first shift I ask her to call my Dr. 3 weeks ago and she said oh I'm awaiting for him to write the prescription and she never called!

I cant this place now, but I believe it was originally called the Fitzgerald Nursing home way back when My Grandparents opened it up back in the 1950’s they were the kindest people along with amazing staff. I worked there as a young kid summers only in 1970 ish It was a place if love I promise And if anyone had a Grandparent or relative who worked int he kitchen there 1970’s -1990’s please reach out to me since I would like to thank them. If there was a way to give this facility a negative star, I would give them as many as infinity would go. One day when the truth can't be hidden anymore, it's going to be a bad day for many but a glorious day for some.

Animal are treated better than these elderly people here at this nursing home. A very horrible, unclean, unsanitized, unorganized, unprofessional care facility. The employees are so disrespectful to the residents and guess. A very ghetto environment where they act as if their at home or an hang out spot. The food is disgusting and needs to be reported. Please close this place down and find these innocent people a better decent place to live.

I don't agree I saw that the place had goog working staff they need more workers but the place is not so bad the building can use a lot of work but the residents is sweet and caring and staff is doing the best they can with what little they have to work with I love the residents and I like the staff and if they had management that would spend money on the building and not put it all in there poket the residents will have a better life at living comfort
