My mother was recently here for 5 weeks. I can't say enough good things about the entire staff that cared for her. She suffers from dementia and very limited mobility. Everyone who cared for her was kind, patient, and loving. True Christians. I can't recall all names, but Michelle is an amazing person!!! Sabine, Larissa, Lynell, Sa Eae(?), & Jennifer were outstanding. Professional & very available for all my questions/advice & willing to help!! The whole PT team was great. Even the maintenance, housekeeping, & laundry people were always sweet & greeted every single visitor who walked by them.…

Honestly several of them got teary, even myself, as we were leaving after discharge. My mother loved having Sparky the mini horse come and visit!!! They have tons of activities for the patients. The building itself is nestled in a wooded area which my mother loved. Lots of butterflies, birds, & happy kitty cats lounging outside in the beautiful side yard. Thanks to all the precious staff who put up with my mom and me!!!!! God bless 🙌
I spent 2 weeks here due to a fractured hip. I give 5 stars for the nurses & general care of the staff and physical therapists, the food was great, the rooms and hallways were clean and everyone was welcoming. JANIE, the Activity Director, was super welcoming and friendly and took away my anxiety of being there. I did have issues with the CNA response time on weekends and evening shift, but after speaking to the nursing supervisor, I think they took action to correct the situation. There is a shortage of CNA staff, I get it, as there are fewer staff on nights & weekends, but the Executive Director needs to be able to allocate fewer patients to each CNA so that they are not overworked & have adequate workers who have direct impact with the patients. I want to especially mention the wonderful care that the nurse on F Hall, TYESHA, displayed and by overlapping in her duties at times, being diligent with the medication & nursing care. Also NANESI, the CNA, that always was available with a smile, as busy as she was. She went the extra mile in her dedication to the patients she was entrusted with, always letting them know she would get to them even when she was busy with someone else. I always felt comfortable when she was on duty. Overall, Life Care Center of Gwinnett is an adequate facility and I would not hesitate to recommend it to others.
I am always impressed with your facility. It is cheerful and welcoming and well taken care of. I know Donna seems to be happy and likes her room and her caretakers. I believe she has become friends with some of the caretakers and that is such a blessing. Thank you for making her life more pleasant and enjoyable and taking such good care of her.
Lynell gave me a tour of the Facility. We had a great conversation, she's very knowledgeable. The place is beautiful, clean, the people were friendly. The location is Great.
I recently had to recover from surgery and had to do physical therapy in order to walk again. I spent 2 and a half months at Life Care Center. The entire staff from the Administration, Registered Nurses, Certified Nurse Assistants, Kitchen Staff and Custodians were awesome. Let me start with the wound care specialist nurse Ms Shereka she is God Sent. God worked through her hands to heal my body. I came in with a wound 18 cm wide on my abdomen and other wounds from surgery. With her healing hands for 2 month's and a half she cleaned, packed and bandaged my wounds because the wounds could not be sewn up. My wounds had to heal from the inside out so, it went from 18 cm to zero in approximately 30 days. Also I want to say a few more words about the Activity Center Director Ms. Jannie she is very caring and compassionate about her job. She implements different activities that we can enjoy throughout our time there. She is very artistic she taught us how to paint also how to do mosaic art she is very thoughtful she took out time to cook us a bbq meal for Memorial Day when we thought we wouldn't have anything like a bbq. Assistant Director Ms. Michelle she is amazing she has such a kind heart and she's very caring towards everyone. She said she has an old soul but I think she has a beautiful soul as well. While I was there I learned a lot from her she stimulated my mind each day with the lessons that she taught me from spiritual lessons to medical lessons and other things in between that I didn't know and I appreciate everything that I learned from her. She's such a sweet young lady. I also want to give a special shout out to the assistant to Director at the activity center Ms. Latoya she was very kind and sweet and nice to me and we became instant friends in the brief time I was their I appreciate them all and I will never forget them. They are all God sent. I also had physical therapy because I lost the ability to walk while I was in ICU and I want to thank all the wonderful staff Lauren, Roberta, Pat, Tish, in physical therapy they were very caring and compassionate . They showed so much empathy towards me. Thank you to everyone in physical therapy for helping me to get back on my feet in such a timely manner and for making me whole again. I will never forget you all. Also the administration was awesome in helping me and I appreciate every last one from Social Services representative Ms Sabine also including the administrative executives. Thank you Director of Food Services The food was delicious and seasoned very well. If you didn't want anything on the menu the staff would be very accommodating. The Administrator that runs the cafeteria Mr Albert is wonderful I give him and the cafeteria staff all Chef's Kiss 💋. If you have a parent or if you need physical therapy I greatly recommend Life Care Center. I have never experienced nursing homes / physical therapy facilitates that treated me with the utmost kindness and respect the staff was very professional and they do really care about the patients well-being and all aspects of your care and also the administrative was very helpful. I will definitely return to visit and also volunteer if they would have me I will never forget this place. Life Care Center of Gwinett County in my opinion should be the example of all the nursing homes in America . Life Care Center of Gwinett County is God Sent
The staff we encountered were very nice. The shared rooms are too small and space unevenly distributed. Only one television, which could not be seen by both people in room due to curtain.
All staff were very kind and competent. Wound care specialist was especially excellent! The food was very good and plentiful, My husband recovered his strength and is able to continue his recovery at home. Thank you all!
Life Care Center of Gwinnett is a loving and caring place. I have often seen staff helping others to ensure the residents are cared for. The place is clean and my mother has enjoyed the food. Activities are outstanding and my mother has made so many good friends. Our family is extremely pleased that our mother is so cared for and in a place she is happy to be at.
