I have a dear friend who is living at Lakes Crossing. They are doing a great job taking care of her. It's safe, clean and friendly. The director and staff are loving and patient.

Lakes crossing has been a blessing for my family. My mom was there for 22 months in the seasons care, before going home to be with the Lord. The staff not only became friends but family to us. Thankful for the love and care they show to their residents daily. God Bless you all.

I toured Lakes Crossing Senior Care. I like that their common areas are big. However, it would be harder to socialize because there seem to be fewer people there at the time where there's supposed to be a lot. It was lunch hour, and I didn't see too many people going out. They explained to me that some of their clients just want to eat in their rooms. Every time you need assistance, the rates would go up. An advantage there is that your initial stay is pro-rated, and they're not going to ask for any down payment, so that's a plus. I saw many of their staff members, and they're friendly. The…

The manager would say, 'Hey, look, this might be our future resident.' They go about what they're doing and they're just letting me see what I need to see. They showed me where the food is prepared and what drinks you can get, but they didn't let me partake of the food. It's like a resort, but there are services that I am not going to be able to get over there. However, the size of the room is very amenable to what I need.

My momma is at Lakes Crossing in their seasons unit. Her memory is fading, so our time with her is so precious. We get to spend time enjoying her, not all the day to day, every day stuff like making sure she takes her meds, she has her bath, she dresses for her day, all the harder things she sometimes does not want to do. Momma can be a handful, but the staff is really good with her. Patience, empathetic, caring, all the things that make such a big difference to not only her but us as a family. Thank you to the seasons unit for taking such good care of our momma.

Terrible facility, staff poorly trained. Don't leave your loved one here. There are better places. Management inside of this facility is Godawful.

1 very good 2 also very good 3 good - they become like family 4 food is good almost always 6 not much activity but [name removed] is usually up and out of her room 7 about as good as can be

I am impressed with how my brother is settling in at Lakes Crossing Senior Care. He was able to help pass out candy on the front porch on Halloween. I have pictures of him being involved in a musical gathering that they had shared on Facebook with me. I was able to share those pictures with my family members here in Michigan. They were very pleased to see that he was involved. He's a retired military nurse, and there are other men there who have military backgrounds and I think that was very helpful. He feels welcomed and there are common threads of background. So, that was very good. My brother has a one bedroom with a nice sized bath. There's an easy, accessible shower with seating to it. He has a kitchenette, a small stove, a refrigerator, and a microwave. The living room is a nice size. Maybe about 9 by 12 size roughly and he's comfortable in that community. He's been living in Kingsland, Georgia for about 30 years after he retired from the Navy so he's familiar with the area very well, and he can still drive, which is very good. So, he visits his family and that's very nice. I was very impressed with the dining room. It's a very nice setup. There's someone that comes in and plays the piano regularly. I met the chef and my brother was very impressed with the food and that's a plus. I felt the staff were very friendly. I've had very good feedback. My brother needs a little assistance with showering, but in other regards, he's able to take his own medication, and I felt the staff was very, very helpful. I've been in contact with the director via email and I've spoken to Barb, the business manager, and Lisa who is one of the main receptionists there, and I'm very comfortable speaking with her. We moved him in on October 13th and 14th was her daughter's birthday. She lives in Indiana and his phone line wasn't able to be set up until the following Wednesday, but we had asked one of the staff members and my brother had mentioned that he'd like to be able to call his daughter on her birthday on October 14th. The staff were very, very wonderful in making sure that he was able to reach out to his daughter on that day. That was just amazing because we were already heading back towards Michigan and it was really important that he reached out to his daughter on her birthday and they made that happen. I was so pleased. During his first week there on a Wednesday, he was very pleased with the food. They had a lobster tail lunch. It was a nice occasion. They do those special lunches from time to time and he enjoyed that. The facility was very clean. It was decorated very nicely, and in good taste. When you first walk in, the reception is down the hall a bit to the left, there's a nice greeting room, and to the right is a very nice dining room. It was very impressive and nicely decorated. I felt it was very welcoming. The décor was very much in good taste. You felt like you were walking into a home. It was very nice. He has joined Scrabble and Bingo. They had someone come and play guitar, like an evening with music, and he enjoyed that. I walked past what was called a theater room where they have actual theater-type chairs and they have a large screen for special movie nights. I felt comfortable with what's included in the service, like the laundry, and the housekeeping of the apartment, and he's at level one for care and I was very pleased with that introductory fee.

Lakes Crossing Senior Care was a very welcoming place with really nice surroundings. The apartments were nice. The staff during the tour was very informative in describing what they provided as far as levels of care. The apartments were spacious and accommodating. The whole property looked very well maintained. The dining area was really nice.
