My family had a positive experience with James Place Senior Living. Communication was clear, and we felt comfortable asking questions throughout the process.

My grandmother had been living here for a few years and passed away on a Thursday evening. On the following Monday I received a text from the owner telling me they tried to clean the place for another resident to move in and they were dismayed that I hadn’t moved everything out already. When I explained that I would have everything out by Friday the owner became upset telling me they had someone that needed the cottage. The cottage was still paid in full and nobody should have entered it, not to mention it had only been 4 days since her passing. I then received a phone call from the manager…

My mother lived here for several years. At first the food and care was excellent. As the years went by it became horrible not only nasty food, but mean and uncaring staff. One worker Tequila (as in the liquor) was so mean to my mother and so many other residents, yet she is still there working. We complained to Shannon the owner but she kept her there anyway. Shannon does not follow state guide lines and is only concerned about money. There were so many inequalities there it's too much to mention. My mom moved into Summer Willow at james Place. It was in the top two in regard to facility, and it was the best value for the money. I’m very satisfied they provide assistance with medication, bathing and hygiene, and transportation to her medical appointments. Everything so far is top notch.
