3.6 · 12 reviewsI love this place. We had to get a new care service for mom and the facility recommended Humble Abode. We are so happy with the service and care. We have had seasons of care with my dad and we know the spectrum of care. The caregivers with mom are CONSISTENT and attentive and always looking to be helpful! I love these people. This is personal care!!! I highly recommend Humble Abode!
You need to visit Humble Abode Personal Care facility to know that it offers 5-Star services in terms of the living environment, professionalism of the care-givers, and the personal care and nourishment of the residents. You need to visit Humble Abode Personal Care facility to know that it offers 5-Star services in terms of the living environment, professionalism of the care-givers, and the personal care and nourishment of the residents. A visit will surely convince you! The blackmail of those who want to take advantage of us because they think we don’t deserve to own a business that adds value to humanity and the world at large cannot deter us from rendering legendary and altruistic service to fellow humans. Our fairness, equity, integrity, and justice in relating with our clients/residents are well documented as a proactive leverage to seek for justice in regards to the prejudice few who might want to achieve bigotry purposes. I think as a U.S. Senior Citizen, a reputable clergyman, and a Doctor-Scholar in the Academia, it’s not unusual for me to own a business. Those who are provoked to jealousy need a 21st century lens to see the world as a global family with a common interdependent value-added purpose beyond ethnicity and racial divides.
Worst place for someone you love! Residents are told to lay in bed all day, bed linens stay soiled. They told me 60 days in, that they font sit or care for residents after 9 pm because the one and only caregiver needs to rest until 6am. Crazy they are licensed as care home. Should be room for rent!!! For $2000 month!!! Crazy!!! My husband fell in the bathroom and they never called 911. He hit his head and looked like he broke his nose. I drove him to ER the next day when I saw him. (They never even called me!) he had 2 hematomas.

Humble abode is a very clean facility than the usual assisted living centers that I’ve seen. Each room that the residents stay is self contained and very clean. The staff are very friendly and the food provided for the residents are balanced diet The staff do a close monitoring for the residents with respect to their medications, allergies and fall risk assessment!!! They have varieties of extra curricular activities for them to keep them busy I will recommend humble abode for any family that needs an assisted living program for their loved ones
This looked like a clean nice home when we visited. I liked the people I met. They offer an enclosed backyard for the residents. We liked the setup of the home, however it is just a little to far away.
They make sure mom is comfortable and taken care of. They are accommodating with her meals and once they find foods she likes they make sure she receives them. The staff are helpful and wonderful. The community is clean and they do offer some daily activities. I would recommend this community.
I have peace of mind now that Dad is being well cared for. But more importantly, he has loving care and a small family atmosphere where he's finally expressing contentment and even happiness once again! They make great efforts to try make sure he's staying active and eating well. Dad even brags about the food being good! He has his own bright and sunny room and they are fully set up to manage as there are changes to his mental and physical capabilities.
Do not take your loved one to Humble Abode. The staff is not equipped to handle elderly people. There is a language barrier. The staff is not trained to handle anyour elder persons. They don't feed the personnel the proper dietary foods only island style meals which a diabetic person cannot have. Residents have had multiple falls without proper documentation provided to family members to the cause. The staff lied about resident activities which never take place. Residents have developed beds oars and again family members were not notified. Improper wheel chair access for entry and exit of residence. DO NOT TAKE YOUR LOVED ONE TO THIS PLACE.
